This is a nice coffee machine but for $150+, I would say it’s not worth it. It’s nice that it has the Bluetooth and wireless feature but it almost doesn’t do much or lets you do much on the app besides customize the brewing cup size warming time. The grind is still very chunky even at the highest setting sadly. Makes decent coffee, but I would stick with a regular $20 coffee maker.

Amazing coffee

This coffee maker is awesome, makes quality coffee and it is a very cool gadget to have around. I programmed it to make fresh ground coffee everyday. Love it!!

Its fantastic for the first few months. Unfortunately, they forgot to account for the fact that fresh beans seep oil, which means the grinder needs regular cleaning. The machine is built in a way that it is nearly impossible to clean the grinder. The official instructions suggest emptying the machine, unplugging it, and turning it on its side to try to use a pipe cleaner to get what you can. Every coffee grinder Ive had previously was able to be disassembled so you could wipe it out or use a paintbrush to clean the burrs.

Waste of Money

After 6 months the grinder went out, the unit does still brew coffee. Now it has developed a mind of its own, It is constantly losing the "keep warm" time, it resets itself to 5 minutes. When using the app, it states that there is no carafe detected so you have to start the brewing from the unit.

European Standard Shutting off Too Soon

I returned this item. I really like the smart features. The only negative thing and reason I returned it is due to the European standard of turning it off after 30 minutes or so. At first my I could control this in my app and make it longer but once the app updated I could not. I emailed customer service and they said they had changed it but alas, it had not.

Works well and brews nicely!

I was looking for a coffee maker that would grind the beans without me having to do the extra work in the mornings. I am currently working from home and start at 4:45 in the morning. I have this programmed to start brewing when I get up. Love having coffee ready to go when I sit down for work for the day.

Don’t Bother

Bought this as a gift. Figured with all the bells and whistles, I couldn’t go wrong. As it turns out, it did. You see, it fails at its primary job, which is to make coffee. It was failing to feed water because it detected a part was missing, which is ironic because that was one of the few necessary parts actually present. Several filter pieces are missing. Also, it fails to show up on the wifi network after a few minutes of actually being online, which in turn means that you can forget the app integration or use with Alexa/Google. But hey, it looks pretty cool. So… there’s that. Circling back to the app integration, look up the Smart 3.0 on your respective app store and read the reviews. This thing is not worth the chance if you’re in it for features OR essential functions

Love the color options and tech capabilities

This is was a great buy. I really like that it came with three different colors; black, red, and cream, to change the face of the machine to match your kitchen. I went with black. It's cool that you can start the machine from your phone. Its freshly brewed coffee and is smooth and delicious.

FINALLY AVAILABLE IN THE US - LOVE IT

This product has been available in Europe for a while but I have been waiting for it to arrive in the US for the past year. I love it and couldn't live without it now. I am a software developer so use it via Alexa to start a fresh brew. It works just like a normal bean to cup coffee grinder but obviously you can grind fresh coffee whenever you need it without having to wait around the kitchen. The app has a nice interface and the functionality is easy to understand.

[Rewarded Review] TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Honestly, I LOVED this machine when I first got it, then the grinder stopped working after about 15 months. I filed a warranty claim and after meticulous trouble shooting as directed by Smarter, it was confirmed that the grinder had "conked out" and that I should receive a new machine in 6-8 weeks. It has now been nearly 4 months and I have yet to receive a replacement. I have emailed them numerous times and have received nothing but the run around. Most recently today, I was told it would be around another 6 weeks. For the price I paid for this machine, this is unacceptable!
