Dead on arrival--never worked

Unfortunately, the kettle didn't work straight out of the box. On the very first attempt to heat water per the setup instructions, it never shut off. It brought the water to a boil just fine, but then sat at a boil for over 5 minutes still indicating that it wasn't up to temperature. I even let it run longer, just to make sure; it still never shut off.

Kettle can heat water to multiple temperatures and has a very useful hold feature to hold a given temperature until you're ready.

Damaged

The first kettle I ordered had a big cut in the box and the kettle looked used. I returned it. The second one arrived with a big gash in the side of the outer box and the kettle box but the kettle appeared intact. It is upsetting because it is for a gift, but I cannot go through this a third time

Variable Temperature Kettle

This kettle is a fine one for people who want a little better hot drink. If you adhere to the notion of burning leaves and/or grounds with water too hot for a specific product, in this kettle you have a solution. Select the temp for the drink and you’ll have the best drink you can make.

LOVE this electric kettle from Hamilton Beach. I do wish the filter screen was removable to make it easier to clean but it's not a deal breaker. It's simple and easy to use and maintain, heats super fast and perfect for what I need. I do wish it had a smaller minimum amount so that I'm not wasting some water just making a single cup of tea. Maybe a micro version of this for more single serving uses would be great.

really love this! enjoy being able to have different temperatures of hot water. it does take me some getting used to to have to push the start button after the selection of temperature. but once i get used to that, i'm sure it will be fine.

I got this for 3weeks now and I still cannot get the chemical taste out. I have tried baking soda, I have boiled what more than 15x and still it have the taste. So its just sitting on my kitchen counter, don't know what else to do.

Its great.. i love all the features and especially the temperature control on the handle that allows for a quick boil and also keeps water warm. The blue light and open spout really add to its features. Overall i use it several times a day and love it.

Temperature Labels Rub Off

The kettle itself is great. I suggest you take a photo before using and archive it. Today at the time of this review I made green tea. when I remove my finger it was only a blank button. I am debating using a Sharpie to label temperatures.

Worked for 3 days

This only worked for 3 days. It stops heating intermittently. Wish I read the other reviews that stated it stopped working after a few months.. For the short time I was able to use this I loved the functionality and style.

Looks very good and the keep warm function is awesome. However, I think this product only worth 4 stars because sometimes when I put the pot into the base, it doesn’t recognize it so I have to remove the pot and put it in again. Not a big deal and doesn’t affect the performance of the pot.

This kettle is a good size. It heats up pretty quick. I like using it rather than heating water in the microwave. I can pour exactly what I need in my cup . It's worth buying. Hamilton Beach has quality products.

I love this kettle! It has 6 temperature settings so no more boiling water, or scorching so it really does make the perfect cup of tea and it will keep it warm for up to 30 minutes. It also has safety features and will shut off automatically if no water is in it and get gets turned on by accident. It has a base which has the plug so you don't have to worry about plugs when serving your tea. All that and it looks really nice too. Love the black and stainless steel with the glass pot. Now go enjoy your tea.

[Rewarded Review] Mother loves it!

The product ended up working very well and had some very nice lighting features to indicate the different stages of the heating process. My mother thought it was awesome, and it allows room for making much hot water or prep for hot chocolate. Great product!

My other tea kettle “died” and I bought the clear tea kettle. Clear looks great! This was a happy choice. I have variable temperature setting for all kinds of teas. It’s fast. Water stays warm for at least 30 minutes. Easy. Easy. Easy

I am so happy with this kettle! The water came to a boil SO quickly, and the blue lights are so pretty. It's great that you can keep the water hot for 30 minutes, to use as needed. I love the fact that the cord is attached to the base, rather than the kettle, which makes it so much easier to use.

I’m always excited to get new products. This kettle is so easy to use. It heats up fast and stays hot for at least an hour. It has multiple settings which which make it more versatile. We use it every day. I have a smaller kettle but this Has a larger capacity. I highly recommend This model.
