Best buy for the money

This item arrived as promised so thank you Overstock. The quality of the neck and the turn dial are rather on the flimsy side but the globe is great-opaque glass not plastic for that price! Other sites had a similar item but the globe was plastic and it cost over $*-$* more! So again I must thank Overstock for carrying this item-cost less and better quality globe. The glass globe doesn't obscure the light from shining through as so many do. So on the medium setting it is perfect for our needs.

This is a good product and value. The gold however, is far too brassy for my taste. I had hoped that I would be receiving the antique gold that was in the ad. I guess that’s a different finish that’s not listed as an available finish?!?! Nonetheless, this is the 2nd floor lamp that I have ordered and it falls short of the 5 star rating because of the finish. I felt that the ad was slightly misleading, but I will make it work as I don’t want to sink money into a 3rd attempt not to mention I am more than supplied with floor lamps at this point.

Works for what you need it for- a lamp

Works with any medium bulb with 3way wattage (once I figured out what that was lol). Wish there was another way to turn the light on/change the brightness since standing up to reach the top of the lamp from my desk is a little inconvenient, but it works for the price I got it. Very useful for when I’m working on my computer and I don’t realize the sun’s gone down already, but is nothing special. If there’s a sale for this, you’ve got nothing to lose!

Great lamp

I was looking for a tall floor lamp for are Florida room. I wanted something that would be nice and tall so we wouldn't feel the heat from the it being used.
