No, I felt I got what I paid for and I was thinking it would be and look more robust than it was. It did not look like the one I saw in the store for the same price.

I received a defective base for this lamp, so the lamp cannot be assembled. There was no thread on one of the components and it did not connect with the others. I had 2 lamps with the same design, I bought them in two different European countries, and everything was fine with both. These lamps were ideal for their low price, but not this one. This is a coincidence and I was unlucky.

This lamp is good because it is inexpensive but the maximum bulb voltage is only 60w so to make my room bright enough I need to use two of these light.

Both damaged, one is used and broken

Both came with scratches, one with finger prints all over and a pole that can't be screwed in. The lamp that works has deep indented scratches, all over. The bowl was dirty and it does look cheap up close but it works fine and I love that it's black, I'll be ordering a few more.

So so, good design but poor quality

Good design, light and neat, good price, but the materials used are so cheap. The on/off switch is the worst, so fragiled when every time that I trying to turn the light on or off. Also, the light bulb only for 60w, so do not suggest for living rooms. Since the price is low, so should not expect too much from this product. However, if I could have a second choice, I would spend more money to get a better quality one.

Cord on the Outside Looks Ugly

Pictures on the Walmart website are deceiving--the most prominent pictures do not show that the wiring is on the outside of the pole (instead of being inside the pole like most lamps). The black cord hanging out below the lampshade really detracts from the simple, sleep appearance of the lamps. Unfortunately I didn't realize this until after I ordered 2 of these lamps. They are going back.

Passes if you are looking for affordable

Looks nice, but only wish is that the power switch would be located in a easier position such as situated higher up on the lamp rather than so low causing somebody to have to bend all the time to turn on the light.
