[Rewarded Review] Impressive backsplash look
This peel and stick tile arrived well packaged and on time. It only took a few days to ship. They were easy to install after prepping area around electrical sockets. However, they were not easy to cut to size as I needed it around some places. Overall, the look is great for areas needing update without the hassle of installing hard tiles and adhesive. Doesn’t look cheap and happy with the final look. Gave a more modern appearance to the area. I recommend this product.
[Rewarded Review] Easy installation and fabulous results.
These are great! The quality is much higher than I assumed and the colors are really perfect. These are a good size and don't require very many pieces to cover a big area. You need to use a straight edge to make cuts just right, but it's easier than expected with a sharp razor.
[Rewarded Review] Fish Scales
These stick on tiles were really fun to work with. Deciding where to place them didn’t come easy, though we could have use them in almost any of our rooms. These tiles are very attractive, both the colors and the designs accent any wall or section of a wall. The peel and stick feature allow for super easy application. Be mindful that each tile must be placed accurately, once they stick it is not easy to peel off. Use a level or edge you can follow to keep the tiles aligned. These tiles definitely add flair to most any room in your house.
[Rewarded Review] Very pleased with this project
We used the tiles to create a decorative backsplash on the wall behind our kitchen corner trash can. The first steps were to sand the previously textured and painted gypsum-board wall with 60-grit paper; then clean and repaint the wall to reduce the uneven texture. Then, we planned the tile layout; cutting the tiles with a utility knife and a metal straightedge on a craft mat. A small rotary sanding tool was used to make fine adjustments. There is an art to cutting the tiles precisely to fit properly into a small space; best done individually before placing each tile. The tiles were applied, starting at the top in the wall corner, and moving out to the doorways. The manufacturer hints that using a mist of a soap-water(10/90%) solution allows fine adjustments; but after a positioned tile fell off the wall, we stopped doing that. The tiles are manufactured with a tapered edge designed to interlock neighboring tiles. When an attached tile barely overlapped an adjacent tile we carefully trimmed it with an exacto knife and tapped it into place with a rubber mallet. The adhesive layer on one of the tiles separated from the plastic, but was successfully repaired with rubber cement. We added a decorative border to finish the project.
