I actually purchased this plant in the store. I repotted to a bigger pot. She loves the East window and has grown so big. Make sure you have space! I’ve propagated it twice.

In really bad shape...came rotting

This plant came to rotting… lots of black squishy stems all over. Full of salt minerals. I’m actually SHOCKED they would feel appropriate to ship something out like this.. it couldn’t have gotten this bad only during transit. Really was looking forward to adding this to my collection…

Exceptional house plant

I potted in a large pot & set in a shady spot on the patio & she grew like crazy & made lots of babies! I even put it out too early & the leaves all died, only for it to rebound with the most incredibly large leaves.

So I ordered this plant on a Wednesday, taking a total leap of faith since the picture doesn’t show the actual product, the order was supposed to arrive to in store pick-up the following Monday, but never did. When the following Thursday came around with still no word about my order I decided to call the store, where they said it should be in soon. About 10 minutes after that I got an email that my order was ready (almost feel like someone forgot about my package/order) but either way, I was excited to see my new Monstera! When I got to the store I decided to go look around the garden center before picking up my package (thank goodness) because I noticed a different big beautiful Monstera plant that was marked for only 24$ not 31$ like the one I just ordered, so I made my way to the counter and they bring me out a large box (I was told plant shipments don’t come in boxes) and I was a little discouraged.. after my husband opened the box and pulled out the super heavy plant I could quickly see why the didn’t post any picture of the actual plants online! I’ve never seen such a small, short, juvenile plant in such a large planter! They stuck a plant half the size of the one I found in the garden section into a pot that was twice as big! After waiting over a week for an order that I then declined to pay for, I was still able to get my monstera plant, for 24$, from the in store garden center. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone who’s looking for a monstera that actually has split leaves and a good size. Seemed like a rip off to me!
