Look for side clips on the lid.

Assembly was a bit tricky. There were limited instructions and the clips that held the sides together were integrated into the lid. It too a few minutes to figure that out.

I would not recomend this composter.

No assembly directions. The propaganda you tube video shows the clips slide on extremely easily which on a cool day is not reality. Came with only 1 pin for the lid instead of two that are needed. Complete waste of over $100. Not as described, not as promised. Junk. Beware.

Buy something else.

Poor Quality Plastic, Bad Design

If I could give a zero star rating, I would. Upon removing the pieces from the box, I could tell right away that the plastic is flimsy and would not stand up over time. Didn't even bother assembling, put it back in the box for return. Do not buy this product.

Impossible to assemble

This is designed for a MAN to put together not a woman. Everything is designed that way. You need the grip strength of an orangutang to put the thingies on the sides that won't slide on. Too much pressure and you will break them. Very poor design.

After about 2 years of service these are still standing strong. I just wish it was a little bit easier to turn the compost.

Not squirrel resistant

Was not easy to assemble. There are no brackets to attach to the ground, so needs to be anchored until mostly full. Lid does not latch. Squirrels chewed through the flimsy side wall within 2 weeks. There are sturdier models for similar prices, dont cheap out on this one.

A little on the cheap side

I am keeping it, but am disappointed in the sturdiness of the plastic it is made with. Wobbly at best. The lid doesn't really close as securely as I would have liked. An animal was able to easily open the bottom door that I have now had to tape shut and place a small boulder in front of. Should be interesting to see how it survives a New England sinter. I would tell people to shop around for something more sturdy.

not easy to assemble

Very difficult to assemble. The 4 pictures on the box were not that helpful (black pieces on black box). One needed to be very strong to fit the sliders over the two sides. Flimsy when set up too. Pricey for the quality. Would not recommend.

Overpriced for what it is.

We wanted a composter for our food and garden waste. The description and reviews on the model sounded good, so we went for it. When we opened the box we were unimpressed and as we assembled it that did not change. We have used wire frames in the past what were more impressive! For the price we thought the construction would be stronger.

No very sturdy

Bought this to replace my existing compost bin that I’ve been using for 4 years. Read the reviews and decided to try it. First, the instructions are just 5 pictures on the box. It wasn’t terribly difficult to assemble but I was surprised at how flimsy it is. As I was putting the compost from my old container into this one, the hatches at the bottom kept coming off, spilling compost everywhere. I ended up having to screw them in place. I realize that we produce a lot of compost in a year but for this to have a 100 gallon capacity, I thought it would be more durable. If you only generate a few yards of compost, annually, this might be ok. But, you can find something less expensive and sturdier.
