An Outstanding Purchase

I purchased this kit to maintain the batteries on my motorhome, and it has been a fantastic addition. The kit is exactly what I need and install was not difficult. My only disappointment is that shortly after I paid $140 the price was reduced to $108! I would have rated it at 5 stars otherwise.

User-Friendly Installation Kit for Everyone

I bought the 100 Watt starter kit for my shed with the intention of using it for my projects, as I needed power in that space. Watching the helpful instructional videos provided a great learning experience about solar energy and its potential benefits. What makes this even more noteworthy is that I am in a wheelchair. My wife and I worked together to install the kit, taking our time with each step. After anchoring the solar panel's pole, we ran conduit underground to protect the cable from the solar panel. Then, I drilled a hole through the shed wall and followed the directions to connect all the solar cables and the battery to the solar charger. The result was the illumination of lights in the shed. My wife and I successfully installed this kit, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.

100W Solar Kit

Knowing little about solar, I purchased this kit to put on my RV. It was easy to wire together and it was charging my battery. This is a great starter kit. I would highly recommend.

Effective and Easy to Set Up

My Renogy Solar Starter kit was a breeze to set up, even for someone like me who isn't particularly tech-savvy. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It works great and powers my CPAP machine, cell phone, lantern, and Fitbit. I'm thoroughly satisfied!

Pleased with the Installation

The installation process was pretty straightforward. While I haven't had the chance to test it during camping yet, I can tell that a lot of thought went into the design. I do have a couple of suggestions, though. It would be convenient if the cables coming from the panel could enter the top of the controller box. Additionally, color-coding the wires would make the installation even more user-friendly.

I found the item I needed at a reasonable price. The ordering process was straightforward, and the goods arrived a day earlier than expected. However, I encountered a minor issue with the controller, as there seemed to be something loose inside. I couldn't fully remove the cover, but I did manage to lift it slightly and shake out a tiny screw and a couple of small pieces of plastic. The unit was exceptionally well-packaged, so I suspect this issue originated at the factory. I plan to get in touch with them to inquire about it.

Great Starter Kit with Quality Products

The products in this kit are of high quality, and I would have given it 5 stars if there was better information provided about the setup. The charge controller's instructions were clear about connecting the battery before the solar panel, but there was no information about which lead from the panel was positive and which was negative. I had to make an educated guess and relied on the charge controller lights for guidance. I was unsure if connecting the leads in reverse would potentially damage the controller.
