Thinner than expected

It was priced low so the fact that it is thinner than other light blocking curtains I’ve had is not surprising. I wanted a new panel for my sliding glass door to refresh the dining area a bit. It doesn’t block out light as much as I’d want and won’t be insulating from cold/heat temps. It’s good enough for now.

Blackout Patio Door Curtain

This curtain is for a sliding patio door and it covers both sides of the door. The curtain is ok. Color matches well to rugs in room. Not impressed with the fabric. But it works and it was cheap enough on sale. It is a lighter color so it is not a total blackout.

Lacks quality control

I ordered a pair for my patio door in April 2024. Love them! I ordered another pair for my living room November 2024 - they arrived with the threading all messed up, and weird lines throughout, like the sewing machine went wacky. I purchased another pair to replace those and same thing. I’m really disappointed as I would like to have another set for my living room.

White curtain is gray and with holes

I ordered product presented as being “actual white”. The picture of product also shows white curtains. The place I’m renting only allows white curtains/shades. The product received is gray. It is gray on both sides. The product also has little holes, quite a few of them. We’ve counted at least 18 holes. The holes seen are at the fold points (in packaging) which tells me the material used is low quality. The material is also thin and seems like it is degrading. Product page says it blocks 75% of the sun. I can tell you that when someone is on the other side of the curtain I can see that there is someone on the other side. At night if you shine a flashlight on it from the inside, the light escapes and can be seen on the other side.

Read the measurements carefully

I love the color and the fabric was nice too. The blackout quality was great. The width was good. A length option would have been better for this product. Also would prefer a black grommet or at least not shiny. I return because they were not long enough for my window.

White is Not Blackout

White curtain does not block light. Purchased for my son’s urban apartment and light shines right through. Hoping Kohl’s will take them back since we threw away the packaging after hanging them. Photo shows 11 pm at night with streetlight outside his window.

Very nice love the sand color

Some of the reviews say these aren't light blocking. I ordered the sand color and they do block the light. I could feel the thicknesses of the fabric as I wss ironing them. They arrived as the shipper stated too. Very good quality and easy to hang minus the ironing

I like them!

Changed room color and came back to Walmart since I bought patio door panels previously. Purchased two of these for each window since just one didn't achieve fullness I desired and they were on sale. Like these much better than the others, have a nice wheen to the them qne the color was just what i needed. Read reviews that say these don't blick enough light but there is a graphic that shows level of opacity and says lets some light through so not sure what they expected. I like the detachable wand to close them since the rod is high. Buying these large panels on sale is the most economical way to dress large windows or patio doors.

Cal Girl

What a good deal and price. Vibrant colors and great material. This is product is truly a game changer. It made a big impression on me and even my husband commented on how beautiful the room looks with the new panels. I am so glad I bought multiple colors. I will buy other colors. This is an inexpensive way to change the vibe and improve the atmosphere of a room.

Flimzy,snagged & discolored 100”x84”curtain panels

The curtains were flimsy with a few snags in the material. I ordered white, but received a grayish blue hue curtain. I have never been so disappointed in a pair of curtains. I was so happy to see that they carried the 100” x 84”. But after receiving it – it was a complete letdown. The price was outrageous. Even at a sale price. It was not worth it. No I would never recommend these curtains to anyone. Beautiful style, but the poorest quality I have ever seen. The needles used to sew the top seam were too large and really exaggerated each stitch in the fabric. I hope the pair of curtains that I received was a fluke and not indicative of the normal quality of the sun zero blackout panel of which I ordered two panels for a really wide window. (98” wide)

Not blackout. Barely even room darkening

Just received and hung these today and I am not impressed. Ordered these in charcoal (so one of the darkest colors available) for our bedroom in hopes our infant could nap better in a darker room during the day. We were not expecting complete blackout as we read the description and saw a little light can still get through. These are not even close to anything quality. It is not even sunny outside and we can see our blinds that hang behind the curtains though the curtain. I would say at least 30-40% of the light still comes through. And like I said, it is not sunny outside, so I can imagine when it is sunny it will be even worse.

Excellent Sunlight (and temperature) Protection!!

I absolutely love these blackout patio door curtains! I live in the northeastern part of the states and we get full sun all day throughout the year. Since putting this curtain up over our patio sliders our heating and air conditioning costs have dropped significantly!! In the winter you could feel the drafts coming through this door and in the summer, the sun would heat up the dining area horribly. You could feel the heat or cold coming through the doors. Since we’ve hung these curtains that is no longer the case! These curtains are not only good and dark but they're also great in terms of their ability to insulate. The fabric is lovely and drapes beautifully once the wrinkles from packing have hung out (I hate to iron so I’m always impressed when wrinkles from being folded in the package with a heavy fabric like this ‘hangs out’ quickly and effortlessly). I’d highly recommended them to anyone!!

Very Nice Blackout Curtains for the price

I was looking for blackout curtains in gray color to cover a 94 inch wide window. I first purchased 2 panels of the Sun Zero Oslo Theater Grade 100% Blackout Grommet Curtain Panel in 52 x 84. I figured that 52 inch x 2 panels would cover my window. I forgot to account for the folds in the panels and was 3 feet short of covering the window. The curtains however were awesome. They are definitely blackout. Very well made with a separate blackout panel on the back. The Coal color looks almost purple though. I loved the panels but they don’t come in a extra wide size like I needed.
