Pot too heavy for macrame hangers

I like the idea of a self-watering pot, but the macrame hangers couldn't hold the planter and kept falling off. I had to leave the planter on the ground instead of hanging it, which defeated the purpose of buying a hanging flower pot.

Great product however

Happy with these baskets except one thing. Where the chain/rope connects to the basket there could be some wedges that slide in to the hooks to keep the rope attached to the basket. Otherwise they tend to come halfway undone.

I'm so happy with these hanging planters. They are very well made seems like gppd durable plastic. Self watering tp help me not drown my plants too. Love the color too a nice deep grey.

These houseplant pots are really nice. They are an attractive grey color, that will surely fit in with just about any decor. They have nice macrame-like hangers that are supportive and long enough to work with any setting and any plant. They have capped drain holes, which is essential for the health of any indoor plant. They are large - something that is rare in hanging pots - a very welcome feature. They're lightweight so once they are filled with soil and plant, they are not too heavy. They are made well and are suitable for indoor or outdoor use. I like these and am very happy to have them in my plant "arsenal."

[Rewarded Review] Great Indoor or Outdoor Planting

Bloem has made the classic and functional Dura Cotta Hanging Basket to serve any garden needs, in the city or the country. One item that makes these hanging baskets great is the hidden reservoir. When you water the plants, a portion of the water is stored in this hidden reservoir that the plant is utilized in addition to the roots that absorb water. It has the option to use inside or out by having a drainage plug when used indoors. Removing the plug for outside plants allows water to pass through, thus preventing the plant's basket from becoming overweight. This holds up to 6 quarts of potting soil so the basket can be used for flowers or veggies. From our experience, the cord and clips are well made and prevent the planter from breaking. Great product.

[Rewarded Review] Nice hanging baskets in colors to match exterior of your home.

The set of 2 self watering hanging pots were well packaged and received no damage during shipping. The pot has a plate to separate the water reservoir from the plant just pop it onto the provided tips. The hanging mechanism comes with prongs to attach to the pots. For those with weak hand strength, insert one prong into the hole and then squeeze/push the other prong in place. Much easier than trying to pinch the ends together and then insert into the hole! Measurements pictured or more/or less.

[Rewarded Review] Disappointed-thin plastic

I’m disappointed with these hanging baskets. I got them because they are larger than normal-12 inches and very deep. But once you fill the bowl with soil and a plant the weight is too heavy. The hanger pulled out of the holes and broke. The macrame hanger is very short for the size of pot-adding too the issue with not very good quality. Unfortunately I had to take my plants out. These pots are not durable.

[Rewarded Review] Great pot, so-so hanger!

I really love my new Charcoal - Dura Cotta 12 in. Hanging Basket 2-Pack! These pots are not only beautiful, but with the self-watering disk and reservoir, they save time, as you do not have to water as frequently as you would with standard planters. They have a much better profile than the more traditional pointed cone shape that most other hanging baskets have, which is definitely a plus as far as looks go! This profile helps give the roots more room to grow, so I’m not expecting to have to repot as frequently as I would with standard baskets. The price is also a plus. The downside would be the hanger itself. I was disappointed that they provided a hanger as short as they did. Also, there is a loop for hanging it instead of a hook, which would enable you to attach it to a chain, instead of having to have to hang it on the ceiling hook. If not for the hanger, I would have given it 5 stars. All in all, I don’t think you can find a better value anywhere. You might pay less somewhere else, but you won’t be getting the quality!!

[Rewarded Review] Nicely designed hanging baskets.

The baskets arrived in plain box packaging with “some assembly required.” The Ring (hook) comes attached to the three ropes tied/braided. The “ropes” slip into plastic “hooks”/snaps that fit into the flower basket. The bottom of the basket has a drip plug I was disappointed that one was missing but these will be used more outdoors where it’s not critical removed anyway. The plug installed took some effort to remove without potentially damaging it. On a positive note speaks to the ability to keep the basket from leaking in preferred conditions.

[Rewarded Review] Great planters

I really like these planters. I like the gray color because the colors of the flower will seem vibrant against the gray. It comes with a removable plug and a drain tray inside which helps with water not sitting in the pot. It has clips to snap the hanger in place. It has a very sturdy hook made of metal. It's winter right now so I can't wait for spring to hang some flowers.

[Rewarded Review] Great for hot, dry summers

Anything that helps to keep plants from drying out is a great idea in our hot, dry summers here in Texas. I usually have to water everyday but his type of pot with a water reservoir, lets me skip a day or two. It runs a bit larger than you expect, thanks to its thin wall resin plastic construction. It can easily hold four or five 4” pot sized annuals which would make a very nice, full basket. I wish the macrame cord hanger matched the durability of the basket. The removable drain plug is ideal for the outdoors and removing it does not interfere with the reservoir’s functionality.

[Rewarded Review] Attractive

Very nice and good sized hanging planters. Got these for next spring. They appear to be very durable and have everything you need to hand them. The hangers are rope which I believe is nylon. I usually prefer the plaster c straps but hope these will last through more than one season. They will look great with spring flowers in my front porch. A good buy.
