Personal opinion

Right amount of light under cabinet in kitchen. Light weight enough to install with 3M strips. My hands are disabled so I can't use the items sent with light for installation.

Fit perfectly under the cabinet. I wanted a bright light. Easy to install!!

FIRE HAZARD!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!

This piece of junk almost burned my house down!! It was burning and smoking and we caught it just in time! We could have lost everything up to and including our lives had we not caught it in time. I am beyond livid.

You get what you pay for (not a bad thing!)

So the product is what it says it is. I wasn't spending a lot of money so I didn't expect it to be much. It is an LED strip housed in a cheaply made plastic housing. I used it in an under cabinet application and have no complaints. One thing I must mention is the only mounting "strategy" available in the way that it's built is to put screws in (my case) the cabinet first and the back side of the light has 2 small key-shaped holes to fit the screw head in and then slide the light over a smidge to "lock" it into position. This alone left the light falling down everytime you applied pressure to the switch to turn it on, as you have no way of tightening the screws down once you put the light on them. The unit is essentially a one piece plastic housing that cannot come apart to give access to the screw head to tighten it (or not supposed to come apart anyway, and felt like it would break when I tried). My solution to this was to put the screw head AS CLOSE AS I COULD to the surface I was screwing them into while still allowing a TINY bit of space to slide the plastic of the housing under it. This might sound confusing but it's the best I can explain it. (If you read this WHILE trying to mount the light I think it'll make more sense)... So with the screw heads as close as possible, I slid the light over and under the screw heads and then had to use 2 more (very small) wood screws OUTSIDE of the light housing, up against it, to hold it from sliding out of place everytime I turned it on. I put a couple pictures to show what I mean. So, in conclusion, I knew what I was buying, a cheap light. I did NOT expect mounting it to be such an... "Afterthought" of it's makers. But if you're even a TINY bit handy you can still get perfect use out of it. Delivery was less than a week. So no complaints here.

Meeting Expectations

These are great little lights. Bought them for my work bench. The lengths worked well with the spacing on the shelf supports that are overhead of the bench. I gave four stars only because I thought they could be daisy-chained together to a single power source. Somehow I missed that it wasn't the case. I improvised and moved on. The price was too good to return the lights. So far they have made my work bench much brighter! I recommend, but just know they aren't daisy-chain compatible.
