Good for kids to use so they won't break these dishes
The design, material and color are beautiful and just what i wanted for every day use to replace the heavy ceramic and glass set I've had all these years. But my husband and I both especially appreciate the size of the bowls. Meals are generally just the 2 of us and I do a lot of one pan/crockpot type meals and the bowls are perfect for those, and these bowls are twice as big as any regular set of dinnerware would contain.
Love my plates set, sp light weight for people with arthritis or neuropathy.

[Rewarded Review] Lightweight I'd right
I don't know what melamine is but it feels like plastic. I was expecting stone wear or something heavier than plastic. And I didn't notice they are not microwave safe. Thankful I got them on sale because I don't feel like they are worth full price barely worth the price I paid. However, if you are looking for lightweight that resembles stone and you don't plan on putting them in the microwave or dishwasher these would be perfect. They would be great in an rv or trailer. I do like the coloring.

The colors are brighter in the picture online. They are not dishwasher safe. I use them everyday and the colors are starting to fade out.
Nice collection
The colors were perfect - plan to use them in our RV. The dishes are much thinner than other melamine sets we have. One bowl arrived cracked, but I contacted Elama and they are shipping a replacement to me. Pleased overall thus far.
These look so elegant! They definitely look like “real” dishes and they give some sense of normalcy to the RV camping life!
