[Rewarded Review] Gorgeous!!

Absolutely gorgeous. They look even better in person, pearlescent. Haven’t gotten them installed quite yet, but will update with pictures once I do!

[Rewarded Review] natural shell tile backsplash

i ordered the Apollo natural shell mosaic tile to use as backsplash above a vanity in our 1/2 bath. we wanted something with a coastal beach look and this tile gave us the effect we were looking for and was a stunning addition to the room. this mosaic tile is very thin so i used a tile setting mat rather than thin set to attach it to the wall, i was afraid the thin set might interfere with the grout lines. the finished install turned out to our satisfaction and we are very happy with this tile and feel it was a great choice for our needs.

Thin tile that looks amazing

Perfect for installing over existing tile. I’m adding more pictures of my second project which is doing the other side of the kitchen. I first did the bar area only in case I didn’t like the final look, but I love the color and the biscuit color unsanded grout was a perfect blend. Grouting is not easy when there is little room between the gaps to add grout so do small batches at a time.

[Rewarded Review] Most versatile type of tile.

This is perhaps the best one of the best types of tile for home remodeling. At least most versatile. While it's not for heavy traffic or swimming pools, it can be used in the shower.

Waste of money

With shipping it was 9.70. To get a 4 inch by 4 inch. No way to tell with that small sample whether it can even be used for my large job. Should be able to buy one whole 12 by 12

[Rewarded Review] Beautiful! But use light unsanded grout

The tile is very thin so I used simplemat adhesive to install over existing backsplash. I first cleaned the tile very well and wiped off with alcohol, put adhesive and installed easily since the few pieces that needed cutting were easy to cut with sniping tool. I used mapei unsanded grout in biscuit color and it blends perfectly. I don’t recommend darker grout because the tile is not perfectly shaped and not flat so the grout was not easy to clean with the sponge and it took me a long time to finish grouting. I still see some tiles with grout that I had to scrap off with my fingernail. Since the tile is very thin, there’s not much space to fill with group so careful if you end up using tile adhesive that will fill the gaps and not leave any room for the grout. Overall it was easy to install, just the grouting was a pain but worth it. I’m posting the before and after pictures so you can see the ugly purple tile I had before. As I said, I installed this right on top of the old tile. This tile color is a beautiful ivory color and it brightens up the bar.
