We bought this fixture for a home we r selling which updated the lighting in the room quite nicely.

Easy to install and very bright in our bathroom.

Product met my expectations. The installation was a little tricky. Trying to line up the mounting screws with the holes in the fixture was a little difficult due to the insulation on top of the fixture.

Poor Design

The insulation on the top of the base makes installation nearly impossible. The mounting screws to attach the base to the junction box are way too short!!! They do not even reach the holes in the base. This is a terrible design. I have reinstalled my old fixture and thrown this piece in the trash. Lesson learned.

It has a layer of isolation make of fiber glass so is not so safe and if dont use protective gear and it was hard to install do to the isolation being on the way the while time.also you run the risk of getting it all over the room you are trying to install it. That's why i give it 2 stars

Easy to install, looks good. I like it because I can use 2-E26 LED light bulbs.

Hassle to install

The pre-installed wire clamps on the light are designed for single-wire feeds into the clamps, so - because the box had two hot black wires and two neutrals - I cut those clamps off and needed to then strip the wires to allow them to be wire-nutted onto the box twisted pairs. Besides this minor glitch, the light wires are VERY short, which makes installing this light onto the ceiling very difficult and awkward. I usually temporarily "hang" the light using the grounding cable, but that hung the light too low to allow the blacks and whites to be twisted and wire-nutted without holding it up with my "third" hand. Meanwhile, the light housing is scratching the ceiling paint. Probably the toughest ceiling light install I've done in years. Don't waste your time buying this light.
