Not What Expected

The pan is not the pan from the picture. This pan is more rounded whereas the one in the photo is more flat. Nevertheless, it’s still a very good quality pan that I can’t wait to heat up a frozen pizza on. 👍👍

Replaced 2 skillets for "cast iron pizza" night

I grew tired of creating two separate pizzas to fill the 8" and 10.5" cast iron skillets I already have. Pizza cooks at a super high temperature. So I'm worrying more these days about my ability to wrestle a fully loaded, bubbling skillet out of the oven without dropping or inadvertently tipping it, just enough to spill the contents out onto the oven door or my kitchen floor. One narrow handle doesn't feel sufficient during those times.

This Pizza Pan is a game-changer for homemade pizza lovers! The cast iron construction ensures even heat distribution, giving you a perfectly crispy crust every time. It's incredibly durable and retains heat, making it great not only for pizza but also for baking.

Good product with a few caveats.

Good value with a little work

I chose this based on purchaser reviews and price. The cost is about half that of the Lodge equivalent and my cast iron expenditures were getting out of hand. All in all it is a decent chunk of iron but the texture is rough. It is advertised as non stick but plan on multiple seasonings to get it where you are likely to want it.

Perfect addition to my kitchen

This has become my constant use griddle. It’s big enough, but light enough to easily cleaned. Side note, you will need to season it to get that awesome non-stick finish!

Thought I was going to be in love with this pan ordered a set of cast-iron to go with my recently purchased gas stove and when you wash the pizza pan, it dries with rust all over it it says it comes preseasoned, so maybe it’s not supposed to do that, but it does extremely to the point I can’t use them. so unfortunately I do not recommend this product

I've only used 3 times

I purchased for a better way of cooking deep dish pizza. In the past the crust would burn and the center of the pizza would be doughy using a regular pizza pan. The cast iron pan has cut my cooking time in half. The pizza is evenly cooked. I haven't had any issues with the pizza sticking to the cast iron pan but, I applied a small thin layer of oil to it before using the pan. The only thing I don't like and I am trying to fix is the cast iron pan gives me a crunchy crust. Im working on adjusting the oven temperature to see if I can achieve a soft crust. I have only used the cast only pan 3 times so I am still working on learning the best method to cook my pizza. Outside of the crunchy crust I love the overall way it cooks my pizza.

A must have!

I replaced Faber ware aluminum flat pan, because I noticed that it wobble did lay flat on burner for even cooking. So I decided on the this cast iron pan due to great result my previous purchase of cast iron cookware. I am so please with amazement how this pan cooks. I have not use it for pizza which am very sure it work better than aluminum. However I use it to fry bacons, hamburgers, sauté vegetables. I am very impress. Worth the money.

I used this pan once for pizza, and it worked fine. I did see in the instructions that when using the pan at high heat, it needs to be brought up to temperature slowly. That is, you shouldn't put a cold pan in a hot oven as it could crack. The only issue is that many pan pizza recipes call for the pizza dough to be placed in a cold pan, filling most but not all of it, then covered while the dough rises. Eventually the dough will fill the entire pan. Then, the pan with the fully risen dough, is supposed to be put in the hot oven. I didn't do that, I put the dough in the cold pan and then put it in the oven to come to temperature slowly. The dough certainly expanded by the time it hit my target temperature of 500 degrees. So, the next time, either I place an empty cold pizza pan in the oven to come to temperature gradually, and then put the fermented dough in the now-hot pan and bake it; or I put the dough in the cold pan, filling most of it, dress the pizza, and let it come to 500, and I am pretty sure it will turn out fine. But the pan itself works well. I do like the handles as it makes it incredibly easier to pull out of the oven than trying to lift a hot pan without it.

Decent cast iron pan. I wanted something with a bigger capacity than my classic Lodge 12" cast iron pan. The size of the inside flat portion is 12" wide, so it's good for most frozen pizzas. FYI it is unseasoned, so the finish is a bit rough. This is the exact same pan as the "Cast Iron Pizza Pan" by Classic Cuisine (Model #HW031087) on the HD website. They are merely different labels on the same item, the only difference is that the Home Complete was in a poly bag, and the Classic Cuisine was packed in a branded carton... so buy whichever one is the better deal!

Very nice and versatile pan. We love making our on pizzas. This is the perfect pan for cooking breakfast. Cooking bacon, omelettes, pancakes, eggs, etc are great. Grilled cheese sandwiches are a hit with our grandsons. We tried grilled vegetables and it made the job so easy. We will use this pan a bunch. I bought two more for my daughters and their family.

This little 14 inch Cast Iron Pizza Pan Worked first time like it was well seasoned. They always say do not wash cast iron. We have ALWAYS washed them with detergent before the first use to clean off manufacturing chemicals and such junk. My wife then rubbed in bacon grease which helps to further season the cast iron. We will never wash it with soap and water again. She did pancakes on it using a New-Wave Induction plate and it worked perfectly with even heating. It looks to be well made. Often there are very sharp edges on cast iron but this pizza pan had no sharp edges at all. The one drawback is you will never be able to make a 14" pizza because it is only 13 1/2" across. That is why I only rated it GOOD and not excellent. Not that a half inch is really that critical. Of course you could overlap the crust. Make your pizzas fun and experiment my friend.

I love this round cast iron pizza pan! I've baked pizza, warm up tortillas, bacon, pancakes, quesadilla with this cast iron pan. I've used it as a skillet while cooking chicken and bell peppers. This is a solid piece of cookware in the kitchen and grill. Please look over the use and care instruction for proper care for this 14" cast iron pan. Make certain to handwash only. We are absolutely happy with this multi use cookware.

The Commercial Cast Iron 14” Pizza Pan arrived in perfect condition. It shared the box with an instruction sheet. The shipping box survived the journey but looked like it was tested by the cast iron pan within. Everything was in good condition though, and the pan looks great. The Pizza Pan is flawless but feels heavy. It is devoid of any written or engraved identification with the exception of the accompanying instruction sheet. There is no telling where this thing was made. Nevertheless, it is a high quality cast iron pan. We first washed ours with mild soap, dried it with a towel, gave it a light coating of oil as directed and then tried it out cooking a pizza in the oven. For our first time out we used a brand and type of frozen pizza that we have cooked before using one of those thin pizza pans that has a number of holes in the bottom. Our new 14” Cast Iron Pizza Pan performed wonderfully. The pizza cooked quickly and within the timeframe listed in the cooking instructions. The crust was pleasingly browned, a bit more so than what we have experienced using the thin, holey pan. I also thought that the crust was crispier. The pizza tasted grate. Afterwards, we cleaned and oiled the pan once again. Nothing stuck which made cleaning easy. We again towel dried it before treating it with our second thin coating of cooking oil. It looks great. What a nice pizza and a nice pan.

This is the Home-Complete 14 in. Cast Iron Pizza Pan. When you take it out of the package, you’ll notice that it feels substantial—nicely made, heavy duty cast iron. However, if you measure it, you’d be hard-pressed to figure out how they got 14 in. for a diameter. From the outside edges, it only measures 13 3/4”. Inside to inside is 13 3/16”. However, if you measure from the lip on one side, down to the bottom, across the pan, then up the other side, you get real close to 14”. This isn’t really important, it’s just good to know what you’re getting.

This is a very heavy pizza pan over seven pounds. The pizza pan is thirteen and one half inches in diameter. This will make a medium pizza. The surface of the pizza pan is rough just like a cast iron skillet. What I like about the thickness of the pan is that it stays hot for a while after the pizza is cooked. The curve on the edge of the pan gives the pizza the fat crust. I love he handles. This gives you the ability to handle the pan while it is hot. (with gloves of course). This is a really nice pizza pan.
