Boxed with some kind of shredded impact cardboard (made no sense other than filler.)Plastic wrapping for lamp is a long endless vertical wrap, again makes no sense. Cheaper possibly, but why not use foam to protect inside, and a full bag for outside ?Conversion kit is versatile. A small stain ... one inch. Not sure how that got there

I ordered 3 of these conversion kits to change my entry way fixture effortlessly and inexpensively. These are literally shades you can buy anywhere and with that being said, it is not intended to be placed on the ceiling. It will not allow the fixture to conceal the fixture you are trying to cover and it does not allow for the lightbulbs to be placed back into the sockets. The diffuser at the bottom was not made to fit the shade seamlessly because there is a huge gap. No thank you! These have all be returned.
