Works well and holds a good amount

I bought these for my son in College. He and his 2 roomies do meal prep on the weekends and l love the 3 sectional containers. Plenty of room for rice, protein and sides - and don't leak or open inadvertently in their bookbags. The 21 containers (lids and bottoms) work perfectly for 7 days of meals, among the 3 of them.

Smaller but not better

I love the size. Perfect for a little more than single serving but not a double serving. however, not as well made as the mainstays triple compartment double serving size i was able to get previously. it says New %26 better. New yes, better NOT. I run all through the dishwasher before use %26 one was cracked. just by waking in the dishwasher. very skeptical of even using them. Hopefully i can get at least a single use out of some of them.

[Rewarded Review] Stack great but flimsy

These meal prep containers go in the microwave which was exactly what I was hoping for. The have 3 compartments to make sure your food isn't touching! The best feature is that they stack so beautifully! When I first unpacked them, I was wondering, what are these little ridges for? Now I know! They stack on top of each other and fit like a puzzle. Even if you jostle the pile, they don't move! How smart is that! In the refrigerator, no tipping over! After using it in the microwave and dishwasher, it was hard to get the lid to fit well. It was flimsy and hard to put on and take off. Not sure if it got warped? They are very lightweight and not so sturdy. They almost feel like 1 use containers, not reusable. For those of you who recycle, they are pp 5 inside the little triangle. The lids fit on tightly but are somewhat hard to get off. Sometimes I had to slip a butter knife under the lid to pop it off. For storage, when you're not using them, they take up very little room in the cupboard. They fit very nicely inside each other.

I love these - not just for meal prepping though. I really like how sturdy they are and also they are microwaveable safe and of course reusable. What we use them for, which I guess it’s meal prepping in a way is that we package food for my husband’s elderly parents. We prepare meals for them to heat up during the week if they are too tired to cook. Of course we use them for meal prepping for ourselves but I don’t mind if my in laws do not give the container back since they are quite affordable.

Received the 21pk meal prep food containers and they are a decent size – 8.5"L x 7”W x 1.5”deep- THIS IS WHAT I DON’T LIKE – IT’S NOT DEEP ENOUGH FOR ME! However, it's awesome for space saving in the fridge! It has 3 separate compartments (one large/two smaller compartment). The lids fit on tightly and the containers are decent quality. Great for meal prepping and portion control.

These meal prep containers are great, and extremely convenient. I love that they have separated compartments which make them ideal for storage for entire meals. They are lightweight but not flimsy. They are microwave safe, dishwasher safe, leak resistant as they have a locking seal that goes around the entire container. if you do not hear this click all the way around when sealing the container, it is not sealed properly. They are also freezer safe so storage for a later time is easy as popping them right into the freezer. They are portion control containers as well, with a max of 32 ounces. The large compartment is 16 ounces and the smaller compartments are 8 ounces each. the plastic is bpa free and they do have a design which makes them easy to stack in the fridge or freezer. they also fit nicely into one another for storage in the cabinets until you are ready to use them. they are a great alternative to tupperware at a really excellent price. they are stackable and about 9.5 by 7.5 inches. these would be great to throw in a lunch bag, or even to take on the road and pack some goodies in them.

These Freshware meal prep containers are pretty great! We received the 15 pack and I'm thrilled as we had just ran out of plastic Tupperware containers. These are listed as meal prep containers, but we don't meal prep so I just use them as food storage containers for leftovers or lunches. They have a nice tight seal with the lid, as long as you push down along all the edges. Getting the lid off can be a tad difficult because the seal is tight and the edges are a little sharp. I haven't been cut, but I try to be careful because they do feel sharp. Proceed with a little caution when opening the lid. These containers stack so nicely when stored, makes my cabinet look much nicer and organized. They hold a good amount of food, especially with the popped up lid (as shown in my picture.). They seem durable as well. They are a great size for a lunch, no compartments which is fine with me. They are made exclusively of 100% food-safe, BPA, PVC and Phthalate free, FDA Approved polypropylene, which makes this dad very happy. We try to steer clear of chemicals, etc, but that can be hard and expensive so these containers make it easy. Also, one of the best parts about them is they are dishwasher and microwave safe!! I've hand-washed them, microwaved them, and put them in the dishwasher. All work well. They are very easy to hand wash because food doesn't seem to stick too harshly to them. I've been so happy with these and I plan to buy Freshware containers in the future.

I really like these containers for all the reasons listed as far as the type of safe BPA plastic, dishwasher safe, freezer safe, microwave safe, and it even has the temperature at which it's safe to add hot food right into the container. I also like that it comes in a large pack and they are all the same size to make cabinet storage as easy as portion control, as well as stacking uniformity in the fridge or freezer. I like that the lids snap on and stay on without a problem. The containers are a little chinsy looking in person I will admit. They kind of remind me of take out containers from restaurants but they do work really, really well. One down side is you have to basically go all the way around with your hands and snap it like 8 times to make sure it's leak proof and everything is closed completely but it will stay closed and not pop up. It has a click to let you know it's closed. Now with that said I filled 1 with water and made sure it was closed but purposely shook it on all sides to see if anything escaped. I had a minor drip at 1 corner but this was a forced test with water. For food with any sauces I would think this would be ok as it would not be tipped on it's side and shook a bunch of times on purpose to see if it would drip. So in my opinion they do their job quite well and I would buy them for my families needs. Right now I have 4 in use and saving the others. I plan to rotate them out as they begin to get older and stained or lose the ability to stay closed.

So the Freshware Meal Prep Containers [21 Pack] 3 Compartment with Lids, Food Storage Bento Box, BPA Free, Stackable, Lunch Boxes, Microwave/Dishwasher/Freezer Safe, Portion Control, 21-day fix (24 oz) was received thru the Sparks Reviewer program and here's my take on it. First, let me say that the items arrived well packaged with no damaged. So I did receive a shipment of 15, all were accounted for. The three-section compartments are very good and I have portion out my meal into this small containers. The containers are microwave safe. They are easy to easy to clean in the sink, however, I do not have a dishwasher, so I will not be able to comment on that. These containers are reusable. If you so choose, you can throw them after use, but why do that. So I find the containers are easy to use, stackable, easy to clean, and a convenience. I tried to use it for so stew to carry to lunch to work, however, the container does not seal airtight. Some of the stew from the night before leaked out onto the interior of my car. Nope, I was not expecting that. It kinda saddens the joy for lunch a little that day. So now that I know, so that you know. I still recommend the Freshware Meal Prep Containers [21 Pack] 3 Compartment with Lids, just be mindful that any dish that is too juicy will need to be wrapped up good.

I got the 21 pack of the "Freshware Meal Prep Containers with 3 Compartments and Lids" and so far they have been great! I love that this pack comes with 21 separate containers or three weeks of meals. I have been using these to prep my lunch for the upcoming week. They are also great for portion control because the entire box size is 9 x 6.8 x 1.5 inches. The large compartment size is 5.8 x 4 x 1.5 inches and the two small compartments are each 4 x 2.8 x 1.5 inches.

We're really happy with these bento-style food containers. They're helping us eat better and they are saving us money, too. The plastics are BPA free, and thicker than, say, a frozen meal tray. They are quite sturdy, and could easily be reused again and again. The trays are also large, with three deep pockets in each, about 1 1/4 inches deep. The clear lids expand those three areas, adding another half inch, in height, to each compartment. The lids and trays stack up neatly, which I love since I tend to lose plastic container lids. I was happy to find that once the lids and trays are closed completely -- which requires specific pressure around the entire tray, they are watertight. The packaging does say they are "leak resistant," and I did find that to be the case, even when I put water in them, turned them on their sides, and shook them vigorously, not a drop of water came out.

These Bento lunch boxes are really nice. And believe me they work great for more than just food. I've used them in several ways already. These were great for school lunches, snacks, left overs in the fridge and homemade TV dinners in the freezer. They stacked really nice in the fridge and the freezer too. I also used a few for my extra buttons and safety pins. And cut a slit in the lid of one to use for my spare change container. The lids are a little hard to pop off but that's what you want to make sure they have a good seal. These are safe for the microwave so that makes it so much easier to just pop it right in to warm up the left overs. No more having to dirty other dishes just because my storage container wasn't microwave safe. And the other plus is that they are also dishwasher safe. These only have one compartment. It's really hard to measure but the actual storage space inside the bottom container is around seven and three fourths inches by five inches. And about one and three fourths inches deep. Then the lid is about one half inch deep. The actual size of the outside of the container, with lid on, is nine inches by six inches, and two and a fourth inches high.

I am excited to review the Freshware 15-Pack, 1 Compartment Bento Lunch Boxes with Lids because I feel they are a good product at a good value. First of all they remind me of the plastic to go containers that many Chinese food restaurants use except these ones are a tiny bit deeper and more round at the edges. The stack together tight and fit easily into even small cabinets. They are easy to snap the lid on and it feels like there is a good tight seal when doing so. Removing the lid is also easy and it dosen't feel like you have to really yank at it or break a nail doing so like with some of the other harder plastic containers. There is a decent amount of room for a meal and these are especially helpful for those prepping out meals ahead of time. One of my favorite things about these is that not only can they be put in the refrigerator but they can also be microwaved and stored in the freezer and most containers like this are not microwave or freezer safe. When you do a large amount of food prep ahead of time, being able to freezer the containers is idea. Recommended.

I was excited to get some portion control with separate compartments, sometimes you just don’t want foods touching. I can say these are great containers, I have had ones in the past that have cracked or leaked or warped from microwaving, these meal prep containers have no of those problems. If you are interested in trying to eat less these containers will definitely help with that. I did a full week of meal prep for lunch and dinner with these meals containers and I threw some in the freezer and refrigerated some. All the meals remained fresh and lasted the full week. A big plus with these meal prep containers is that you can freeze them, microwave them, and even throw them in the dishwasher and they remain in the same state you brought them in. Another feature I like is I didn’t have any leaking issue with the containers. Sometimes containers lids pop off and everything has leaked everywhere, no worries with these containers. One other feature that is great is these lids and containers stack up together nicely, it saves you space and hassle of searching for matching lids. I would highly recommend these Freshware meal prep containers to anyone looking have a hassle-free container experience, they are well worth the price. I will defiantly be ordering more.

Great for Meal Prep

These are good size meal trays, perfect for a lunch or dinner. These three compartment trays are the largest of the three sizes I've purchased. I can fit a regular sized sandwich (or two small sandwich rolls) on the larger side and some carrots and sliced apples in the two smaller sections. They are deep enough that you could put food with sauce or gravy or whatever in there as well. I'll be using them to pack my lunches to work as well as my daughters lunches to the babysitter's house this summer. They stack nicely with grooves in lids that match up with the underside of the tray. Not only is this a space saver in the fridge but they are much easier to bring to the babysitter. I make food for the week on Sunday evening and I can pack a few days at a time in a bag without worrying about the flat trays slipping and sliding around in the bag or toppling over. They say airtight but I wanted to see how they do with liquids. Water runs from one compartment to the other fairly quickly when turned on its side. However the lid kept it inside the container pretty well. If it slides over sideways I should easily be able to straighten it up before it leaks and makes a mess. You do need to make sure the lid is attached correctly in order for it not to leak though. You can quickly snap it on and go or spend an extra two seconds and run your finger along the edges to make sure the bottom is snug inside the top. I love that these are reusable but cheap enough not to cry when I lose one or throw it away after I find something growing inside. #freshware #freshware #mealprep #foodprep
