Easier to install and better light than puck lighting in a kitchen application. However I needed to buy double-sided tape because the sticky side of my light string did not hold. Buy your own 2-strand 12v bell wire to route around appliances.

Review all parts needed, before buying

Bright Light great! LED lights tape fall off easily. Can’t purchase single parts (like another transformer). Can’t dim with a wall dimming switch. Have to use theirs.

[Rewarded Review] A professional looking installation

The best part about this is it comes with most everything you need to provide a professional installation. The lighting is MUCH brigher than I thought it would be so it was pleasantly surprised and thankful that it was capable of dimming via the remote control. I really liked the way it wasn't a warm white color but a more useful daylight bright so that the task lightling on the counter tops was excellent. I had to jump the gap across the stove and it doesn't come with the necessary length of a jumper wire but it was easier to buy some bell wire to extend the included jumper wires. I only needed to drill 3/8" holes to pass the lighting strip through each cabinet. The power supply uses terminals for the low voltage and the high voltage wiring which makes it perfect to hiding the power adapter away from under the cabinets but up inside by the kitchen hood or behind the refrigerator like I did.

[Rewarded Review] Armacost Ribbon Flex Pro+ LED Tape Light kit

This project took a little longer than I expected since I tried my best to make sure all the wiring was hidden. The hardest part was installing the 120VAC outlet inside of the cabinets to hide the cord and still plug in the transformer that converts AC to DC voltage. Once the outlet was established, the actual installation of the light strip went perfectly. If hiding the transformer is not high on your priority list than it is a simple plug and play. The light strip comes with an adhesive tape already installed on the back (be careful when starting to remove the outer layer of the adhesive tape that you don’t remove the entire tape from the lights). There is a remote included with the kit but it does not come with any mounting hardware, so I took a piece of double sided 3M tape and attached it in a convenient place to turn the lights off and on. Additionally the remote has a dimmer function that works well with a large range of different settings. This was exactly what I wanted to provide light under the counter for getting ready in those early mornings without lighting up the whole house. This strip is rated for 50,000 hours of continuous usage and has a 5 year warranty. Overall I’m satisfied with this product and would recommend it for my application.

[Rewarded Review] Love this item

Absolutely can not express how much I love this product. It was really easy installation. I did only use the plug in, and did not hard wire or split and wiring. Installation only took about 20 minutes. The adhesive backing is great. Very sticky, but adjustable if you need to fix it. It gave my cabinets a high end look and added some light at night. It also comes with a remote control and the lights can dim if you want a subtle light. Also, plug in and cord was easy to hide on counter. Love this item!

The Armacost RibbonFlex Pro+ is a LED tape light that lets you customize your lighting installation for the layout you have. It includes two jumpers that allow you to cut the tape and reconnect it but the product is designed to also use soldiered leads meaning you can make a perfectly custom installation (additional parts and skill needed.)

This under the cabinet lighting kit is absolutely fabulous .if you are interested in under the cabinet lighting then check this brand out I have tried several and so far these are the best by far.our kitchen is medium sized and doesn't have much natural lighting in it but these help a ton installation is fast and easy anyone can install this set in less than 20 minutes using the self adhesive backing already on the backside of the light set just simply peel and stick. Enjoy the remote that comes with the set that allows you to dim the lights or make them very bright wich was the perfect solution to our lighting issue in our kitchen. I would absolutely recommend this set to anyone looking for a simple solution for needing extra lighting or even just a nightlight under the kitchen cabinets or anywhere you can stick them and have a plug nearby everything you need to install comes with the kit even the batteries for the remote

[Rewarded Review] You do not have to be an electrician

No wiring knowledge is needed to install this product as long as you follow the directions: The instructions give clear guidance on how to cut to fit, apply, and plug in the materials in this kit. No special cutting tools are needed-- just get the scissors out of your junk drawer. In fact the scissors are the only part of the kit that does not come in the box. Even the remote comes with a battery (watch battery type is identified on the remote unit!)-- so you can set this up and illuminate your space in a half hour or less. My husband did have to create his own splitter to fit our needs, but he has the know-how to do so. If you have electrical knowledge, the kit materials would allow for unique projects and applications-- indoors anyway.

[Rewarded Review] Neat accent lights!

I choose to install the Ribbon-Flex lights beneath a set of shelves above my washing machine. Not so much for the light to see by as for appearance. Installation instructions were easy to follow, I wish the instructions included how to open the tiny clips on the ends of the jumper wires. This was tough to figure out without breaking anything. Once opened, it is very easy to connect the ribbon to the connector. The ribbon sticks to the underside of the cabinet above the washer and shines light downward and outward. I noticed about 2 hours after installation, about a foot or so of the ribbon had separated from the cabinet and was hanging down. A quick fix, I just pressed it back into place. I guess if it hangs down again, I will apply some tape to hold it in place. The remote control is close to the same size as a remote for Netflix and is a handy way of operating the Ribbon-Flex lights. The remote operates off of a single battery (included) about the size of a nickel, it will be easy to replace the battery when it needs it. Using the remote, you can turn the lights on/off as well as make them brighter/dimmer. This is a great feature as you can tell by the photos.

[Rewarded Review] Nice system

Very bright lights with plenty of set up options. The length was more than long enough to do three runs under two double cabinets. Easily cuttable, with standard two pin connectors. The power cord is nice and long incase you need to go a ways to a power outlet. The LEDs are exposed on the strip. The strip started to fall a few hours after installing, but user error that we didn't clean the surface first. It seems to be sticking just fine after doing so.
