Reliable Classic Dishes

Gibson dishes are solid, straightforward, and stand the test of time! I returned to this brand after having a set of EuroCeramica and finding they lack the quality to make up for the price. This Gibson set's pasta bowls are very large, but the family likes them. Only 4 stars because the boxes arrived with broken and flawed dishes, so we bought more boxes until we had a complete set. Return process was super easy, so it made up for the hassle. Would purchase again.

Do not buy

Look great but chip and warp immediately. We have had these for approximately 1 month and we have chipped bowls and plates already. We haven’t even dropped any! It was simply from Loading them into the dishwasher, and we don’t do that aggressively lol. Would recommend buying something else. Also do not clean well in dishwasher and spot when hand cleaned, even when dried right away.

Beautiful, but...

Beautiful plates and bowls, except that there are many small scratches on most of them. I’ve come to realize that paying full price for “scratch and dent” EVERYTHING is a sign of our times. It doesn’t mean that I have to accept or keep them. It would be nice if there was a resolution short of the complicated task of returning them.

Dishes are not good. There are a lot of flaws on the plates and the plate rims are sharp and uneven. I bought 2 sets and I am returning them.

Really really like them !

This set is very classy and simple. The bowls are a bit smaller than I expected and there does seem to be a glue-like reside in some of the plates however, it was easy to wash off. Aside from that, it makes a perfect beginner set for new homes or for a small family. Overall, packaging was great and everything came in good shape !

Sent as a gift to my son in Chicago so he wouldn't need to take it home on plane over the holidays! He said it arrived at his apartment "unbroken" and he will be able to start using it this Thanksgiving!

Simplistic and nice. Not as good of a quality as I was hoping for. One set came with a chip and blackcream specks within the porcelain. The smaller bowl of the two is smaller then your average bowl but decent.
