This locking mechanism does not secure. The moment you sit on the toilet, the seat unlocks and shifts while you’re on it. Very poorly made. Not thrilled. Too late to return it. Looking for a new seat.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
Do NOT buy this toilet seat. The hinges on the back of the lid and seat pop off easily and the seat slides all around. VERY DANGEROUS! VERY poor designed hinges DO NOT keep the toilet seat and lid secured to the toilet. The hinges are to be pressed down onto the support that comes up from underneath the toilet, and then you turn the top part in the direction of the arrow, but it does NOT hold the seat and lid in place!
Just bought and has already broke.
