We used this bracket on the edge of a wormy chestnut slab my husband made into a table. Used two other brackets to mount it and this bracket to stabilize the edge and for the look. It's very sturdy, and looks great. I gave four stars because it is slightly out of square - not quite 90 degrees - but nothing that interferes with the function.
These are very sharp, solid brackets at a much better price. Unfortunately there was some difficulty getting the quantity that I needed and I had to return the ones I could get. But otherwise its a really nice bracket
