Loves it!

My dog loves it! I put this bed in her crate last night. After sleeping on it overnight, she curled right back up inside after our walk this morning, and has been hanging out there ever since. She's normally not interested in hanging out in her crate during the day, so I am sure it's the bed that has made the difference!

Bed Sheds Clumps of Fur when Washing

When I first purchased this bed, I loved it. It shipped quickly, material felt soft, and size fit perfectly in my pups crate. Unfortunately, my puppy had a few accidents in the crate which resulted in the bed needing to be washed a few times. Each time I rinsed off the bed before putting in the washing machine - I saw massive clumps of fur coming out. Even with following the product care directions, endless amounts of fur continued to fall out in the washer and dryer. Ended up having to throw the bed away because I could not get it clean without bunches of fur clogging my drains.

Poor Quality Overall

I purchased several of these mats and have been so disappointed. Not only are they very thin but they shed in clumps nonstop. I have tried washing and drying but nothing slows down the shedding. I have to constantly vacuum around my girl's crate. MidWest has certainly lowered their standards. Their mats used to last for ages.

Soft travels

My Service Dog Damir rids in a back seat hammock. On long trips (Virginia to Texas 1600miles and return 6 t0 8 weeks later, he was wearing sores on his backsides. We bought the fleece crate mat to give him a softer surface in the hammock. It worked so well preventing the sores and the seems so comfortable that we started using the mat on daily trips switching the mat back and forth between vehicles. This is our second fleece mat purchase to allow us to have one in each vehicle.

Ripped straps, doesn't fit crate well

I bought the 48" white fleece bed to go inside the Midwest 48" crate. The straps snapped off immediately and were too tight to fit over all 4 corners of the crate pan. Also there was a bit too much room on the sides and corners between the edge of the bed and the crate walls, so it wasn't a good use of the space.

Josie like it but

Josie loves this crate mat because it doesn’t have any traction & she can dig her imaginary hole in it causing huge chunks of pretty orange fuzz to fly around & stick in her little dachshund toes. This mat is slick on the back so it slides around, not what I would have chose or expected since I bought it so Josie would be comfortable in her crate rehabbing from a back injury. I’m happy to vacuum up the fluff because it makes her happy.

Smaller in length and width

The bed is smaller than described. I thought it would fit perfectly, however it is actually about 20-21" by 12" so it doesn't fill all the space I wanted it to. I was pleasantly surprised by the elastics underneath that are meant to be used to secure the bed in place on a pan insert, but since the dimensions are smaller than described, the elastics can barely reach around the pan insert and could break. Better than nothing. I would call the colour white, not cream, but still looks nice. The material is kinda rough in my opinion. The cushioning feels decent compared to what you'd think by just looking at it. Does the job but not as well as I'd hoped. Less space for pet than I hoped. It was on sale so it was a good price.

Cheap crate mat with cancer causing materials!

I ordered this crate mat for my 8 week old puppy—and very disappointed on a number of levels.
