Overall nice mattress for kids

I love the fact it has one side for kids that are not quite potty trained, which is the main reason I purchased the 2 mattresses. The down side is when a adult sits or lays on the mattress the springs squeak.

Mattress has a smell

Mattress is very comfortable for my son but the raw materials have a definite odor that took over a month to fully dissipate.

Toddler sleeps great!

Decided to move our 20 month old to this mattress after he started climbing out of his crib. He sleeps great on it every night, and we enjoy snuggling up with him to read before bed. I love that it's waterproof on one side as we start to navigate potty training. And I love that it's a healthy product! Highly recommend!

BEST Twin Mattresses

This mattress is not only super comfortable but gives me so much piece of mind knowing that the materials are organic and non-toxic. We used these on our daughters twin bunks and they love them!

It smells

I've had the mattress 2 weeks and it still smells. It's not a chemical smell, more like stale hay. I'm trusting that this is safe for my child to sleep on, but if I had to do it over I would have gotten the mattress with a lot of lead time so it could offgas for a while.

The most uncomfortable mattress

This is my worst purchase at crate and barrel, it is really uncomfortable for adults to sleep next to their kid. I hate that I can’t even return this or sell it. Used it for two weeks. Get something else.

Not that comfortable

I had high expectations after reading all of the reviews, but the mattress is not comfortable. The waterproof side is so wobbly that we switched it after one night. Right off the bat, we couldn't use it for the main reason we bought it for. The other side is much firmer, but still not that comfortable (I sleep with my daughter some nights). I figured for the price it would feel much more comfortable.

Very Flimsy and Unsupportive

This is the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever experienced, and I'm not super picky about firmness level. It feels very flimsy and unsupportive. Even though it is not firm, it is also not soft - it almost feels like an air mattress with a few springs in it. It crinkles every time you sit on it. I'm so upset we spent so much money on this item.

I bought this mattress for my daughter and her new big-girl bed. It's so comfortable! And we love that it has a waterproof side and a quilted side. Not to mention that it's organic! Very happy with this purchase.

This is a really high quality mattress and keeps me at ease knowing my son will not be exposed to harmful chemicals. It is not too firm or soft, just right!

Expected better quality

I used to have a crib mattress and we absolutely loved it! Well made, non toxic, nice to touch. So that's why I decided to buy the twin for the bed transition. For the first year it was not used because my kid didn't want to move to a new bed. But then we start using it. So we both fall asleep together and then I sneak out. And after 3-4 months of use that sneak out became challenging because the mattress makes sounds when I move (I believe because of springs). Also I can feel them thru with my bones. Mattress became bumpy uncomfortable and noisy. And this is only in few months of use!

Love the wipeable surface

Perfect for potty-training age. Easy to wipe down if they have an accident.

Solid toddler mattress!

Nice quality (nontoxic materials!!!) but a little stiff/uncomfortable. However, it's much improved with a simple soft mattress pad on top, and to me it's worth it for the organic materials.
