Soft and smooth luxury

I always buy satin pillowcases now to protect my curly hair. These pillowcases are smooth as silk, lovely to look at, and a great addition to my bedding collection. I got the king size pillowcases and they of course fit my king size pillows perfectly. Also, I don't find the pillow slipping out of the case the next morning as I've found others (non-satin) do. The color choices are wonderful.

The material is soft and the pillow case is well constructed,however the fabric is very thin. It was very wrinkled after washing and I had to iron it. Too high maintenance for something that gets constant use. Also I ordered Champagne and the color was definitely Gold. I returned it for a refund.

This was my second purchase of a Bare Home Silk pillowcase. As a woman in perimenopause, I'm especially enjoying how cool the pillow feels on my face and neck. I'm also not seeing as many hairs from my head on the pillow case. I have fine, wavy hair that would be frizzy by morning on my usual cotton pillowcases, but not since switching to these silk cases. I also haven't woken up with a huge pillow crease line on my face since switching to these. I bought two so that on laundry day, while one is hanging to dry, I have another to put right back on.

I cannot say enough about these pillow cases. I started with only two, one for me and my youngest kid. We have some skin issues and a few doctors and friends suggested silk pillow cases as a solution. Game changer! Our skin is soothed, our hair is so much healthier and lovely and for a perimenopausal woman, the coolness is amazing! My spouse and other kid now have them as well and we all love them! I’m slowly adding more and more to our linen closet so when we do laundry we have extras. The zipper closure is really great, it ensures the pillow case doesn’t twist and bunch. I would absolutely buy a few sheet sets if I could. Highly recommend these pillow cases.

This is such a wonderfully silky smooth pillowcase! I've always had some level of trouble getting comfortable enough to fall asleep at night, turns out a big part of that was having a rough pillowcase (who'da thought? Probably most people). This silk pillowcase has done wonders to help me drift off to sleep, and I've even felt much more refreshed waking up in the mornings as a result. One thing to be aware of is that with such a soft material, the pillow does tend to slide around a bit, especially with similarly soft bedsheets. I sleep in a couple different rooms throughout the week, and if I'm in the bed without a headboard there's a tendency for the pillow to slide up a bit, so definitely helpful to have some sort of wall or headboard in place if you run into similar issues!

These are not satin weave with a polyester material. These are beautiful true Silk And they have a nice weight to them. The zipper is well hidden, and does not seem to interfere with the comfort of the pillow in anyway. Two for this price is an amazing value for your money.

It's the squeakiest of three different silk pillowcases I bought in a way that reminds me of a polyester satin kind of pillowcase. I think it /is/ silk but it's my least favorite of the three and I'm planning on replacing it with a different brand (I wanted a burgundy pillowcase). It's also slightly smaller than my other two. I've noticed my pillow kind of bulges in it whereas it doesn't with the others. It's an okay silk pillowcase but I think there are better options out there.

It’s very soft, and very shiny and slippery. More so than my other pure silk pillowcases have been. I’m a little skeptical this is actually pure silk because of it, and I haven’t done a burn test to confirm. (I don’t want to burn my pillowcase, lol.) I’ve come to terms with the fact that this might be fake because I know that polyester satin has almost all the same benefits for hair and skin as silk satin. It does have nice slip, it’s fairly cool to the touch, and it’s held up well in washes although I know how to launder silk properly. I’ll keep it in my rotation. I’ll say that it does look nicer than my other pure silk pillowcases because it has that luster to it, but I’m just not convinced this is real silk.

I got this silk pillow case because I’m trying to baby my hair. I’ve seen TikTok and Instagram videos about how to take care of your hair so it doesn’t break off or get damaged while you sleep. A silk pillowcase helps a lot. I was concerned about getting white because it could stain. But it matches my sheets. The fabric is great quality! I’ve had it for a few months, washed it, and it is still soft and looks like new. It’s still bright white despite getting mascara and stains from my moisturizer on it. I treat it and everything comes out. This is a king size. It hasn’t shrunk. It fits so well without being too tight or loose. The zipper is on one side and hidden so you can’t see it. I’ve never had a pillow case that fit this well! The zipper doesn’t get stuck. It’s wonderful!I already had an eye mask from this brand so I trusted it. I’ve had other silk pillowcases that didn’t wear well and got sort of scratchy. Not this one. Highly recommend!

This one is of a true premium quality: Lovely cooling and silky feel against the skin for long hours of comfortable sleep. It also features good craftsmanship and attention to details, such as the zipper which works well and looks neatly discreet when closed. The brand offers a wide range of colors that should fit most bedding sets out there. The elegant packaging makes it a neat gift idea as well. The asking price is a bit above average for similar products however. It still is recommended and garners a good score.

This is one of the softest and slickest pillows that I came across and it is made from 100% Pure Mulberry Silk. The 19 Momme silk is one of the finest materials to use since it feels so much softer on my hair and skin when compared to silk items of other varieties. What I particularly like about this product is the zipper inside that ensures the pillow does not slip off when one is sleeping. There is nothing about the Forged Iron Grey color that I dislike – it looks rather classy and fits in the bedroom perfectly. This is also breathable and cools during the night, allowing me to get a good night’s sleep each time. It comes in the form of an incredibly soft pillowcase and the quality is far superior to a normal pillowcase. SleepGear – Roll n’ Rise Mattress Pad : This is an essential item for anyone interested in improving their sleep. Highly recommend!

This pillowcase is listed as "made from non-toxic premium materials in a factory that is OEKO-TEX certified" but there is no OEKO-TEK label anywhere on the fabric. Certification BJ025 172302 TESTEX is posted on the Bare Home listing, but not on the product or packaging. That IS a legitimate certification code per the OEKO-TEX website, but why isn't it on the product tag? I purchased a different brand that has the proper coded tag so I'm not at all convinced that this product's fabric is what it is advertised to be. It's made well and has held up in the washing machine and even the dryer once but is it actually silk and is it actually OEKO-TEK certified? Maybe that's why other pillowcases are three times as much? Buyer beware.

This amazing pillow case transforms my pillow into a luxurious place for my facial skin to rest. The difference in my skin after sleeping on nothing else was enough to convince me. It is the most comfortable pillow case I have ever used and it is really pleasing to the touch. I know that my face does not get sweaty like it used to with a regular cotton pillow case. The air seems to circulate much better with this fabric. Well sewn and very durable.

This satin silk pillow case feel so luxurious and amazing. The cooling effect is nice especially for anyone who has issues with sweating at nights. It is fairly easy to put your pillow in this silky case which also has a hidden zipper that works smoothly and keep your pillow from falling or sliding out. It has washed up well and the wrinkles are easily removed with low heat. If you are person that has night sweats then you have to try this pillow case. It's worth every penny.

This pillowcase rocks! It's truly luxurious, comfy, smooth, and looks great. It's so comfortable to sleep on, and my skincare and hair products stay on me at night instead of wiping off on my pillowcase!The light pink color is really pretty and feminine, it's exactly what I was hoping for. Not satin or synthetic.-100% mulberry silk, not blended. 6A quality silk.-Zipper closure in a hidden style (in this variation). You won’t notice it or feel it during use due to where and how it’s placed on the edge. Good quality zipper that’s easy to use and well stitched into the pillowcase. (It’s also available in an envelope closure, having tried various silk pillowcases with both, I prefer the zipper myself.)-The full sized (standard) pillowcase size holds larger pillows well. I used it on a bulky buckwheat filled pillow (great for the neck and shoulders) and it held it perfectly.-Full (standard) size: 26” long by 20” wide-Color was vibrant and true to the pictures shown (in the plum color).-Washes and dries well (it will wrinkle a little, so get it out of the dryer quickly). Safe for those sensitive to scents.-OEKO-TEX certified (see the listing details for the certification number) to be non-toxic and free of harmful chemicals.* Cons-what I didn’t like and what didn’t work well:-No issues.* Tips Thoughts:-You may want to also consider tying your hair up with a silk hair scrunchie or using a silk sleeping cap. I get less frizz using a silk pillow case (which works much better than satin for this for me), but more hairstyle and curl preservation if I add a silk scrunchie or sleeping cap (neither are included).-I also would suggest adding a silk sleep mask (not included), especially the kind with the ruched silk cover on the head strap vs luggage like strap, they are a lot more comfortable.

I’m half Afro-Bahamian so I have some really thick, mixed-texture, curly hair. I’m a guy but I’ve been trying to grow my hair out and the process has been something, to say the least. This pillow case has helped me keep down the morning frizz and keep my hair from looking absolutey crazy when I wake up. I think it would work best paired with a bonnet, but honestly if you have ethnic hair, this silk bedsheet is perfect. It’s also really soft and sleeps cool, so there’s that added benefit.

This Bare Home 100% Mulberry Silk Pillowcase is absolutely beautiful in every light and makes for a fabulous addition to any bed set. The pink color is so lovely and shimmery like, instantly elevating the look and feel of my bed. The fabric of the pillowcase itself is very soft and smooth, it feels wonderful on my skin and hair, which I like. But for most of my sleeping positions, the fabric is almost too smooth and I have a hard time getting in a comfortable position with it. The pillowcase also ended up wrinkling/crinkling very fast, and did not look so great the next day. Which may be partially due to all the fussing I was doing because of the somewhat slippery fabric. I love that the pillow is fully encased, and the hidden zipper is a nice addition. I will probably use this more for a guest bedroom pillow or maybe on an extra pillow on the bed that I didn’t really use for sleeping, more for appearances. Overall it’s a very nice looking and great quality pillowcase that was made well.

I wanted to give this a few weeks before reviewing and this didn’t disappoint. My daughter’s hair has gotten very thick, curly and frizzy in the last few months and it’s been uncontrollable. We got his after a recommendation from our hair stylist, after a few nights we started noticing a difference in her curl pattern. And within a few weeks it was back to being manageable and brush-able. It is so soft, and easy to wash, but it’s improved my girls hair and that is the 1 thing I was hoping for. If I could give it 10 stars I would.
