Beautiful clean modern vibe❣️
This sink is absolutely gorgeous! We haven’t installed yet but I absolutely can’t wait! It’s very modern and different. It’s easy to clean and offers a very clean aesthetic.
Unique but tricky install for me
I’m topping an 18 in. wide vanity with this, using the existing plumbing rough-ins. The side back drain is a great idea for new rough-ins and anyone lucky to have short shutoffs located out of the way for drain piping to run close to the back wall. I’m not that lucky. Took effort, but finally figured out how to get around (well in front of) my unfortunately placed right shutoff elegantly. The manufacturer did not provide complete rough-in specs. I had to ask questions to see if it could even fit my existing rough-in and cabinet. They didn’t include any instructions whatsoever, and this push-button drain is unique, so they should have! The drain ends with 1 1/4 in. slip-joint threads, therefore they should have also provided the appropriate washer and nut for it. The drain has hardware lining it all the way to just above the threads, so you need to make a super-tight slip-joint connection by inserting a plain 1 1/4 in. pipe into it for only about 5/8 inches. There are a few parts to the drain that are screwed tightly together to stay together. The bottom octagonal piece and the two bottom washers go under the sink while the rest gets dropped in from the top. Washers on both sides of the sink’s bottom drain hole make a tight seal once screwed together. Then the entire internal drain assembly can simply be pulled out by the cap to remove hair and gunk at any time- very nice!
Unique design is worth a try
It is definitely different having the drain be on the side and with a push button to get it to drain, but if you really think about it you can have a full sized cabinet under the sink for the first time. You don't have to work around the waste line, or the trap to put anything under the sink. The design idea is pretty smart, what will really show how it works is if the drain still works in 5 years
