Love Dewalt tools,
Stopped working after less than a year.
DeWalt suggests I return the tool to a repair center that is not close to home. I only used the ratchet twice, less than one year. The other option is to mail the tool which might cost me up to a hundred to repair. Why? First time I'm having an issue with a DeWalt product in 25+ years. Might be time to explore other tool brands. I thought DeWalt would better stand behind their products.
Great Products and variety for a beginning tool person.
I love my gifted set. This is an excellent sale price.
We need accessory links
My husband purchased a similar set for my Christmas gift last year.
I bought this 10 piece tool kit on sale for $549, right at $600 with tax. I own several corded Dewalt tools: table saw, scroll saw, circular saw, jigsaw, etc but I needed a grinder and reciprocating saw and thought the cordless circular saw, oscillating saw, hand vac and small blower would be handy. I will never use the flash light and speaker and I already have a driver and drill in another brand that I am happy with, but it still seemed like good price for the tools I will use. However the 2.0AH batteries are next to useless. Very short use time - about 10 minutes for the saws, blower and grinder, longer with the vac. So the tools are as expected but the but be prepared to spend more for batteries. Not the good deal it sounded like. The 2.0AH batteries should not even be offered. My opinion. Home Depot did a great job with delivery and customer service.
Ok for the value
The leaf blower does not work that good. The Sawzall and osc. tool are great. Lighter than the 18V versions. The vacuum is convenient for little messes. The angle grinder is amazing. The flashlight is very bright. The circular saw works great, its super light. I cut sheet goods regularly with it. The radio did not work, right out of the box. The battery won't go on. Even when I plug it in with the cord it doesn't work. The impact burned up the first time I pulled the trigger. Even with two dead tools it's still an excellent deal.

This combo tool kit has every essential you could need at an incredible price! I could not believe the amount of high quality tools I received for such a low price. The batteries last much longer than I would ever need. The only problem I encountered was that the shop vacuum had markings on it like it had been damaged. However, it works perfectly fine. These tools seem and feel high quality and like they would last for a long time. 10/10 recommend.

One battery was defective out of the box. The skill saw, reciprocating saw and oscillator tool did not come with any blades. The tools are akin to the toy Bosch power tool set I bought my 4 year old for Christmas. 100% made of plastic. The radio doesn’t play as loud as my iPhone does without using any Bluetooth speakers, not helpful when working outside around noises. The blower has the wind velocity of a hair drier. If you want to buy a toy tool set for a child and don’t mind spending $1000 on it I highly recommend this set. If you want to build a dog house, these tools might last long enough to finish it. For any other use cases, save your money and buy another brand. And I say this as someone who has only used Dewalt power tools for the last 25 years. This is pathetic.
Wonderful Tool Kit
Purchased in September of 2020 - have been using on house, outdoor commercial projects and at cabin. LED light is bright - accidently left it on with a 2 amp hr battery overnight - approx. 14 hrs and it was still shining. Circular saw has plenty of power, good rpms, and MUCH quieter older 18v saw. The vacuum is powerful and the extendable hose is nice for under vehicle seats and smaller areas. It also has an easy to reach on/off switch. The recip saw is strong and easy blade change along with good variable speed trigger. The oscillating tool is versatile - didn't think I would use it much, but has come in handy for many projects. The grinder has quick start-up power and does not bog down on heavy jobs. The side handle can be installed on either side for small clearance jobs. The quick change blade and blade guard are easy and stay put. The blower has high RPMs for both garage and outdoor use. The impact driver has excellent power and finishes smoothly along with the LED lighted head. The speaker is loud and crisp and provide easy listening in the house or on the job. The drill is a great tool because of the 2 speeds 1 for power 2 for speed applications. Overall - great tool kit and should last a lifetime.

I got this as a gift, so I won't look a gift horse in the mouth so to speak. Some of the "tools" are throw away items. I stream music and podcasts through my phone. I won't need their blue tooth speakers or whatever they are. The flashlight is a bit sketchy. Others are tools I probably won't use too often. My real complaint is the anemic batteries they give you. To be fully functional they needed to be higher amp/hours and just 2 that last maybe 45 minutes at most - well you have to invest in more batteries to make these work as a Dewalt tool should work. So be prepared to spend another $200 on batteries and charger. So no, I don't recommend them for that reason.
Disappointment and non-functional tool
This kit comes with two 2 amp hour batteries. They're undersized for most tools and need to be recharged often. The charger is a 2 amp charger and takes an hour to charge a 2/3 depleted battery. Longer if you run the battery completely out.

What a rip off - I paid for a set of 1990s knock off tools - I would have NEVER purchased this set if I had known the tools were not brushless. The previous sets I have purchased were all modern brushless tools. When I read the Home Depot advertisement for this particular set, I selected and reviewed the multipurpose tool from the spread of photos, and it is BRUSHLESS, but when the tools arrived, all of them but that tool are the old brush technology tools. On top of that, the wrong sized angle wrench was provided for the saw that wont fit to allow me to change the blade and there is no wrench at all for the grinder...THUMBS DOWN - this is 2020, and if I wanted a set of 90s knock off tools I would've just went to a pawn shop and spent a fraction the money I spent on this set. I feel like I just got ripped of with some bait and switch nonsense.

DeWalt makes quality tools, there is no doubt about that, and even though these aren't the most heavy duty models they offer, they should be sufficient for most DIY users at home. Only the multi tool came with a brushless motor, the product listimg should have been more clear about that, for the price, i expected more. I was disappointed that the only accessories included were blades for the circular saw and some very low quality multi tool blades. My biggest problem with the set, by far, is the battery packs. There are only two batteries included, each 2 AH. One of those will run the saws and vaccum for about 2 minutes. They're only moderately useful for the drill and the flashlight. With this many tools, and for DeWalt's top dollar prices, there should absolutely be more batteries included in the 4-5 AH range. It's tough to say I'd recommend the product knowing that they buyer and likely need to immediately invest hundreds of dollars more in batteries. Otherwise, nice tools.

The oscillating multitool is a godsend, never really thought i needed it, but have found so many uses for i. The vacuum cleaner is great for small jobs, although the filter clogs pretty easily. No issues with blades falling out of the jigsaw, it works perfectly. Circular saw platform isnt perfectly flat, which is a bit annoying. However, for construction work it isn't a huge issue. They light is kind of worthless, not terribly bright. Bluetooth speaker is nice and works well. The Grinder is very handy. The leaf blower is small, but clears my driveway just fine on a 2 amp battery. Drill and impact wrench are brushed motors, but work well. I ended up buying the random orbital sander as well. Overall, great tools from dewalt, quality is on point. Would highly recommend if you agreed going to go cordless tools, but this kit
Worth every penny - Goodbye wired tools!
I'm a contractor and my brother bought me this set for Christmas last year. Since then I've only been using this set and almost everything else I own has been sitting in the truck as a backup. All the tools in this set are absolutely phenomenal and provide more power than you would expect. I had some doubts at first when it came down to the battery power required for the circular, reciprocating, oscillating saws, and grinder but they delivered far better than I could have imagined. They're lighter, more comfortable, and far outperform the wired versions I own. The vacuum and blower are lifesavers when it comes to quickly cleaning up after a job. I've owned a lot of tools and I can honestly say that this is the best set of tools I've ever used. The included batteries are 2-AMP and last a long time but I would suggest buying the 4-AMP or higher if you're going to use them professionally. Only issue is that its impossible to include everything in the 2 toolbags included. An extra toolbag is definitely needed.

Amazing Bang for the Buck...Quality DeWalt tools, very pleased with purchase. As a professional HVAC Service Tech, I was looking for a blower, vacuum, and new reciprocating saw. Was shopping at local store and saw a sign stating there were more Combo packs available online. Got home and fired up the P.C. and WOW! Found this one had everything I needed and more. They have been pretty much in daily use and appear to have the same durability as my other DeWalt equipment still in service. Thanks for helping me up my game.
[Rewarded Review] Great Deal, but not completely satisfied.
I’ve always used Dewalt products and when I seen this spectacular deal which included 10 items, I was like “AWESOME!” Especially when I got it on sale, it made it really worth it. Once I received the package, I opened it up to see the contents... I was a little unhappy about o fee of the items. 1.) the blower is small and doesn’t really have the power to blow much. It’ll get the job done but take a lot longer. 2.) the vacuum’s suction power is mediocre, I expected it to have strong suction. 3.) Bluetooth speaker is not loud at all. I expected Dewalt products to be a lot better quality than what I got. I definitely wouldn’t buy it at retail price, but I do think it’s worth it at the sale price.
Great Set, Great Price When You Wait
Fathers Day and Black Friday deals is where you find the best deals on this combo set, you can buy whenever and wont be upset, but you’ll really be pleased at the low price of $530. First Dewalt set for me and so far impressed with the overall tool abilities, dont really count the flashlight and speaker as “tools” but the light is actually not bad, the bluetooth speaker is of good quality and USB ability to not use a battery while in use. The shop vac and blower I had absolutely no need for but I use them more than I imagined, shop vac has great abilities and great for smaller tighter places when not needing the larger vac.
Awesome combo set!
I just purchased this Dewalt set recently and I couldn't be any happier or more impressed! Granted, my old Craftsman set consisted of a 12v drill, jigsaw and flashlight which was about ten years old so it was time for an upgrade. I'm a home owner as well as run a landscaping business, I knew I wanted something that would last a long time and be more convenient. After doing a lot of research and talking to several people that know a thing or two about power tools, I narrowed my search down to this set. I had an 18v circle saw, electric powered grinder & reciprocating saw plus the tools previously mentioned but they all ran on different power sources and I wanted to simplify things. I ended up selling three of the tools from this set plus all my old stuff so I didn't take so much of a hit financially and I'm really glad I did! Oh the only downside is the 2Ah batteries don't hold a charge as long as I'd like but that's an easy battery purchase upgrade. Aside from that, if you have any doubts...don't!
Top quality tools with a few small complaints.
So far this set has been excellent. Here are my impressions so far. PROS: - The battery life is way longer than I'll ever need in a single day and it's a HUGE help to have a battery status built right into it to know when I'm getting low. -These are powerful but the 3 speed clutch on the drill really gives fantastic control. In the lowest speed you have such finesse to do 1/4 turn slowly or whatever you need. Then you have normal and turbo speeds for drilling etc. - I love the compact size and lighter weight and the premium grip and metal chuck instead of the plastic used on lower models. - The quick release bit chuck on the driver. Just beware that it won't fit double ended bits or stubby bits. You'll need the longer ones so they can stick out far enough to have a little clearance from the chuck. CONS: - I wish the driver also had a slow speed because it is a very powerful tool and it's hard to get very slow to avoid stripping fasteners. - Also I was surprised by how loud these guys are. I figured the brushless tools would be quieter, but these are much louder than my old 18V DC970 drill I was replacing. I almost want to wear hearing protection because it's a fairly high-pitched grinding sound.
