We have used this hardware several times for installing old reclaimed timber shelving. Easy install and really supports the weight and variable sizing up to 14" deep. Use (2) for larger lengths, like a big mantle.

Heavy duty 24" floating shelf bracket
Second time I'm ordering this bracket and like how it looks when done. Put this into a kitchen last year and different kitchen this year. Fitting the shelf holes into the brackets is tricky. Followed a video but still had trouble getting holes in shelf to fit brackets and had to do it over 4 times. Still like the look. Would like to see more installation details on the site. I had to look for them online. Will be ordering a couple more of the brackets for a third kitchen because I like the look even though they are not so easy to install.

These are just what I was looking for. High quality, heavy duty floating shelf brackets that can hold up to a 12 inch wide shelf. And they can hold a lot of weight if properly mounted into a stud. I would definitely recommend these brackets to anyone looking for a heavy duty shelf bracket.
