Never ZLine again

I was a sucker for how well ZLINE’s appliances looked on the outside and should have cared more about how they functioned on the inside! When it comes down to it, that is what really matters! Unfortunately, I have nothing great to say about all three of our appliances from ZLINE. We built our house in 2022 and have nothing but complaints about the microwave, oven/range, and dishwasher that we installed from ZLINE. The microwave is incredibly loud, the oven/range was dangerously leaking gas into our home, they sent us a silly “fix” that didn’t work, it was eventually recalled, and had to be replaced. Lowe’s would not install the new range when it arrived so we had to hire someone to do that. The dishwasher control panel is unbelievably frustrating with illogical functions and buttons. Heaven forbid you accidentally hit the delay button! You are stuck scrolling through 24 hours to get back to zero so that you can finally start the cycle. The upper deck won’t hold most glass upright and the silverware holder takes up too much room on the bottom. Now we have an error code on the dishwasher with ZERO help on the ZLINE website to figure it out. All of their “help” videos just talk you in circles and don’t actually get you to a solution, so we are stuck hiring someone to come out to try and fix the error code. I wish I had positive things to say but that only comes down to me telling you that they look great! I wish I had better sense. Don’t buy ZLINE, there are much better options that not only look great but also function great, imagine that!!!

Avoid this dishwasher!

Terrible. Took forever for Lowes installers to install. Finally installed, they discover it is defective. Avoid this dishwasher. 1 star is too generous considering it doesn't work.

Missing Parts and no ONE CARES!

It was missing two minor screws. And it's taking me over three weeks to get it to finish putting it together. Customer service on this has been absolutely horrible! It was actually taking longer to get the 2 screws then I took to order it and I have had to Call in 4 times to even get the SCREWS orders!

New ZLINE kitchen!

We bought a ZLINE dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, stove and kitchen faucet for our new remodeled kitchen. Everything is beautiful! Clean lines and sharp looking. We’ve only finished in the last two weeks but hope that everything works/lasts as good as it looks!;)

Not my favorite dishwasher. The toe kick is is smaller than the standard size so you can see under the dishwasher. The buttons are very sensitive and not very easy to use. Not very happy with this purchase.

TERRIBLE

by far the worst dishwasher we've ever owned. complete junk. Front panel bushing that hold it on broke off. the dish holder layout is not simple- difficult to place dishes.

Excellent clean - love the options!

This dishwasher has a lot of options and my dishes come out sooo clean even with no pre-rinsing. I love how quiet it is and the cycle is faster than my old dishwasher. There are a few small annoyances I have with it like the bottom rack comes off track easily and the buttons are super sensitive to touch so it gets accidentally turned on sometimes, but overall I'm happy with it!

Poor Quality Terrible Customer Service

I bought this unit last Feb 2023 & was told I could delay delivery until May, however it was delivered in March even though my construction was not complete. It finally got installed in May 2023. It is LOUD, the parts are junky, the top utensil drawer falls off the track when you pull it out. And now it recently started kicking a F8 code when you run it. Not what you would expect on $1400 dishwasher!!!!

Looks cheap, feels cheap

The dishwasher is not worth the price. The racks slide in and out very poorly. You can barely fit anything on the top rack. The overall design of the dishwasher is terrible. There is a weird gap on the outside towards the bottom of the dishwasher. I really wish I would have read reviews before purchasing.

Toe Kick

The installation directions for this dishwasher are terrible. The toe kick does not cover the entire bottom of the dishwasher and there’s only one slot for it to go in so there’s no adjusting. Still debating on returning. It does wash pretty well so far.

Racks make loading very difficult

I’m not sure what kind of dishes were used for designing this machine, but I can’t get any of my dishes to fit. The racks are just weird. Plate slots are too narrow. Cups fall over. I can’t figure out anywhere the 9x13 dishes will fit. A full wash cycle takes 2 hours and the dishes usually come out wet. I miss my past dishwashers…

Horrible Customer Service

I ordered online at Lowes. Never received the dishwasher. I received the door panel to the dishwasher but not the dishwasher. Lowes tracking says the order was shipped and completed. I have tried 3 days in a row to contact Z-Line directly to see if the dishwasher is being shipped but can not get through to customer service. I opened a case with Z-Line but have only received a canned email informing me they have received my case. Lowes customer service had no luck getting in touch with Z-Line either. If I don't hear from Z-line by the end of the week I am going to take Lowes suggestion and return the door panel to my local store and ask for a full refund of my $1400 dishwasher that I never received. If Z-Line makes this right by the end of the week, I will update my review.

This dishwasher sucks!!

This is the WORST dishwasher I have ever owned. Not only do the racks, collapse constantly when you try to load items, the set up design is awful when trying to load your washer. I curse every time I use it, in fact we replaced it with a new one after 6 months because I was so unhappy. Now we are stuck with this one in our bar area, and I despise it. Do not buy this one-

Worst dishwasher I ever owned

The racks are cheap and flimsy. Difficult to fit large glasses on top. Poorly designed. Also bottom kick plate is ugly and is not sturdy, makes it look cheap. If I could return it I would. Don’t waste your money. There is better out there

Small and leaks

Like someone else mentioned this dishwasher is small and not counter height, we had to have another panel made by our cabinet maker because of how short it is. It is now leaking all over the floor and we can't get anyone to return our calls or help. Doesn't hold many dishes at all. Not happy.

Great dishwasher!

We have had this dishwasher for 2 years now and it's been a reliable workhorse. We run it about once per day. It loads easily, gets the dishes clean, and looks great too. We also own the matching ZLINE gas stove/oven and the heating element for the oven has broken twice in just a couple of years, but so far no problems at all with this dishwasher.

Didn’t get what I payed for

At this price point you should be able to put a whole cake in dishwasher and have it come out with nothing after a cycle……no such luck with this unit…..maybe with cupcakes! Let’s start here: This unit is bitty size. Have full size plates? Better get used to hand washing them because they aren’t fitting in here. Unit also side mounts which is a huge pain in the rear! Most units mount up top so this one takes extra time to center. The soap dispenser in a horrible location, won’t open most times.

It was not working properly

It was not working properly. When I call nobody want to talk to you. Already more than 2 month no help. They just ignored you. Still not working. Never buy this product, if there is bad quality, no one from Zline will help.
