Stools went together pretty easily. Having the correct size hex bit for a small ratchet will speed things up. We ordered 3 of these and only had one defective piece of hardware. I was able to scrounge a screw from out in the garage. I did have to drill one hole as the factory missed one.

Great product, but required extensive assembly by someone with mechanical ability. Took my husband a half day to put together 4 of them & he has a furniture background. The end result was a quality product we enjoy using.

The color on the Home Depot site was listed as brown but actual color was dark cherry. Quality control was mediocre but Linon offers to send replacement pieces. One leg was too short and finish on the back of the chair had a 3” flaw. Good value but returned.

They are beautiful . quality is very good. very sturdy. from floor to seat is same height as tall as my other high top chairs. the back is shorter but I love it. assembly wasn't bad. you have read carefully and have a little common sense. I highly recommend these chairs.

The stools came and the quality is very good. My only concern was the two boxes came in poor condition, they looked like they had been ripped open. I had trouble finding the hardware. As I was assembling them one had the holes drilled backward and if I hadn’t had a power drill I would have had to return it for another stool kit. Overall, I am pleased with the stools.

good solid stool for counter. hitches in assembly

Good solid seat for counter meals -- no wobbling or wiggling. Looks good. During assembly, the wood screws were hard to get in; I soaped the threads which helped. One of the corner pieces (see photo) was not drilled correctly, It was missing the two holes in the middle. But I had no trouble drilling the piece so it matched the other three. Glad I bought this item.

Love them! Great quality for the price and very nice looking. My only complaint might be that the instructions could have been better. Not bad enough to lose a star, though. I put them together myself without too much trouble. The second one was easier, so yeah, there's a slight learning curve.

I would have given 5 stars but the fasteners they package with it are cheap junk .The screw heads strip out easily so you can't get a good solid fit and some of them broke in two so that I had to improvise by drilling a separate anchor hole next to the existing screw and use a longer screw to fasten it but it was on the underside and doesn't show. After a couple of failed screws I used drywall screws on almost 100% of the remaining chairs so only 1 chair has a couple of the original screws. If you purchase this product save time and aggravation by using good screws from the start of the assembly process.

Added a picture to show instruction correction on a step for a part that was mislabeled on the page. Made it confusing until I figured it out. Ordered 3 of these for our eat in island and they are perfect for what we needed. They are great for the price and what they are. The plastic feet they added do make them slide really easy on our wood floor so we just added the felt pads to them and that made it much better. Seem comfortable, I’m happy with the purchase. They are the perfect color to match our floor and cabinets.

I bought this chair several months ago and really like it. I bought a set of 4 chairs for around our kitchen island. The order came on time when they said it would. The chairs are comfortable with nice padding. They are a sturdy chair but not too heavy that they cant be moved around for vacuuming. The design of the back legs are what makes this chair sturdy. We are still getting used to leaving a little more room when walking behind the chair so that we don't catch our foot on the back leg. The only thing I don't like is the plastic tip on the bottom of the chair legs. We have the chairs sitting on hardwood floors and the leg tips mark the floor. I am thinking of getting felt pads to replace the plastic ends. Definitely a good chair for the money.

Just the bar chair I was looking for!

Both chairs had wrong screws for bottom part where legs went in, had to buy new screws and make it work because it was already shorted out and screws wouldn’t go in whatsoever that came with the chairs. We tried it every way. So I was disappointed in that regard. Matches old set we had otherwise!

I ordered four of these chairs, and I'm mostly satisfied. Two things kept me from giving them a higher rating: I ordered them because they were described as "medium brown wood," but the boxes are marked "cherry" and that's a better description of the wood color. I don't know if it was a mistake in shipping or if cherry is considered "medium," but it wasn't the color I was expecting. Also, three of the four chairs assembled easily, but one of them had holes drilled in the wrong spots and I wasn't able to use all the screws to assemble it; drilling new holes wouldn't work because they would be too close/combine with the ones already drilled. But, other than these two issues they're sturdy and look nice.

Nice chair but assembly is not a breeze

This is a beautiful chair and it is very comfortable. I would buy another one and recommend it. I gave it 3 stars because the instructions are horrible. There are no "instructions", just pictures and numbers and letters and lines. If you used to assembling products like this or have someone who is, you could probably put this together in less than 30 minutes. If you are a single, older woman like me, even though I am very handy, I would suggest asking someone to do it for you. Still, love the look of the chair and the dimensions are perfect for what I wanted. Seems very sturdy but I just got it so we will see.

I would buy this product again

The bar stool is beautiful! Putting together was a challange since the directions are NOT helpful at all. The biggest problems were the screws for the legs. There were no pilot holes and the screws were not high quality and tended to break the heads off. We got it together and it seems sturdy. This is for my handicap mother who can't stand so she can cook and do dishes. So far she likes it and thinks it looks beautiful.

I bought these stools online. They were delivered quickly and even before the expected delivery date. They were easy to assemble. I put three of them together myself in alittle over an hour and half. My husband was impressed. Do yourself a favor, Forego the screw driver/churchkey and use a drill. The stools look great, high end. They are sturdy and love the clean simple lines. I've gotten numerous compliments. Extremely reasonable price for the quality. I would definitely purchase again.

Triena 24" Cherry Counter Stools

Ordered 2 stools that came promptly but boxes arrived in rather poor shape. However, the stool interior packaging withstood the rough delivery trip and the stools had no damage. Assembly instructions not the best, but parts were all there, parts marked well, and assembly was rather simple @ 45 minute each stool. For the money, these stools were excellent and survived rough delivery and non-professional assembly. Very pleased with this Linon Furniture Product.

Right size and height - but there were flaws

I purchased two of these stools and I would've rated them 5 stars were it not for the quality of the finish. There are several spots on each of them where the staining is not even, and areas with no stain at all, particularly the joint where the top and the back of the chair meet and were glued together. One of the legs also had quite a chunk of wood out of it at the very bottom-outside of the leg - where it shows. A search of the packing materials did not produce the missing piece so I will color it with furniture pencil and hope it isn't too noticeable. Not worth the effort to repackage and return.
