We got these bar stools a couple of years ago for our apt. They’ve held up very nicely. They were easy to assemble (for my husband) and comfy to sit on. We liked them so much we just ordered two more to make a four piece set for our new house.

I have four stools around my island which I purchased over 3 years ago. They still look great years later. One chair has lost its support over time and the cushion now feels hollow. I was pleased to find that overstock still carries the stools and bought one replacement. The new stool matches perfectly with my existing stools. I am very pleased.

Comfortable and very attractive

I love these bar chairs. I bought some chairs like these years ago because we didn't have enough seating when guests were over. I really thought the chairs were comfortable so I looked for the same pattern in barstools. The old bar stools swiveled and because of that the bolts were constantly coming out. These stools, although I would call them tall chairs because they are very comfortable, are attractive, and well build.. I love the design as well as it is subtle but beautiful.

Looks custom made, thick seats & sculpted back

Just as advertised on website. The background color has a greenish tinge which is what I was hoping for . Chair back is low profile, so does not block the kitchen view from the family room. Perfect for my needs & considering I paid the same amount for one chair in previous home, I'm thrilled . Do not rotate but with young grandkids thought this was a better option . Lightweight do easy to move back/forth & rotate.

Good product & cust service, but need packing QC

The end product is great. I like the color and the quality. I've only had them a few days, but they seem sturdy enough to hold up for quite a while. This was my first experience with Overstock and, over-all, it was a good one. I ordered the chairs on Sunday night, and received them by Wednesday night. Impressive. However, when I pulled everything out to assemble them, three of the four chairs were missing multiple hardware pieces. I submitted a parts request, and even though it was pretty late at night, I still heard back from customer service that night. I received the replacement parts on Saturday afternoon. Assembly isn't too bad.. especially after doing the first one. Parts packing could use a bit more quality control, but the customer service was top notch.

A wise decision to purchase the barstools!

These barstools have been used for 3 months now. It was a great purchase and the quality is much better than anticipated. Assembly was required, I would suggest 2 sets of hands make it easier to put the stools together. The fabric is durable and its a favorite of our cat, it does not snag and hair rolls off with adhesive roller. It is the color of the photos. I would purchase these again.

Beautiful, sturdy furniture

These are beautiful in person. They are a true darker gray. They look gray and don't look different shades in different loghting or background. I don't care for the grays that look blue, so I was happy to see that they were a true darker charcoal gray. The quatrefoil background is more off white or cream than white which looks very nice up against the gray. These chairs are sturdy and are a good size. They aren't flimsy feeling.

Love these chairs! I bought 4 to go under my kitchen island. They look great and they are SO comfortable! They have a good thick cushioning on the seat as well as the back. And, it doesn't sink down much when you sit in it. They feel pretty sturdy too! My husband is about 240 lbs, and he has no problem when he sits on them. Some of the adjustable height screws on the bottom were broken. And, I was missing one of the wood screw hole plugs. But, those were very minor. I also like that the backs did not sit too high against the counter. I want to see the beautiful chairs, but, not completely block my view of my beautiful island either. I would definitely buy these again.

I purchased 3 of these stools and upon putting them together we noticed the wood was cracked on the leg of one of them. I contacted Overstock and got an immediate reply stating that they were requesting replacement front legs be sent to us which was wonderful and meant we would not have to go through the hassle of returning the entire stool, right....but not so fast!!!! I get an email this morning saying that the replacement legs are not avaialble so I can either return the stool and they will ship me a new one OR I can return for a full refund. I replied back to see if there is an ETA on the replacement legs as this would be the more feasable solution rather than shipping the entire thing back. I'm still waiting on a response to that so I'm hoping Overstock can resolve this without us needing to do a return. Other than all of this...the stools seem to be pretty good so far.

According to my husband, they were a 'nuisance' to put together. However, with that being said, they look fabulous. They are VERY sturdy, unlike others we have had in the past. The fabric is nice and thick. They are comfortable to sit in for long periods of time, too. Most importantly, they stand up to the daily beating of my "Godspilla"kids. We would absolutely purchase these again. In fact, we have waited 2 full months of use to write our review to be sure it would be accurate. We have decided to purchase similar stools for our adjacent room. EDIT: We have now had these for 1.5 years and they still look FABULOUS! We have other furniture purchased at the same time that has not held up as well. Highly recommend these stools!

These chairs are just as I had hoped. They are soft fabric, even though in the photos they appeared they may not be. The description did not describe it well. The cushions are also soft, and not stiff. The color is as shown, and beautiful. I purchased 6 and 1 is defective. I have yet to contact the manufacturer to get a replacement. If it goes well, I definitely plan to purchase at least 2 more. They are elegant and whimsical at the same time. Assembly was fairly easy, after the first one, I was able to assemble each one in about 20 minutes. At assembly time, they feel sturdy and don't feel as though they will fall apart anytime soon. Hoping that holds true for a long long time.

Super cute but super annoying to assemble

The chairs arrived in a thin, rectangular box weighing about 10lbs. There were about four pieces to put together. The chairs smelled like someone had been smoking a cigarette in the box with them as they made their way to my house. There were a few cosmetic flaws in the wood but that's to be expected, I suppose, for the price. The "instructions" (if you even want to call them that) are basically hieroglyphics so have fun deciphering what you need to do. I found them worse than Ikea instructions. And, if you ever put together Ikea furniture, you know what I'm talking about....all pictures/no words. , ,,,,, After figuring out what went where, I found that I was given more screws than I needed for one area and didn't get enough for the other. I improvised and I hope that the chair stays together. , ,,,,,,,,,,,, Also, you might look at the instructions and wonder how the hell you're supposed to attach the legs with a black piece of fabric underneath the seat??? It took me a minute to figure out that the black fabric was Velcro and it easily was removed to access the area for attachment., ,,,,,,,,,,,, In all the chair is cute. Trendy. Functional. But, they did not receive a fifth star because of how annoying they were to put together.
