Comfortable Chair

We were in the market for a good chair to fit a 5'4" person comfortably. Many of the chairs are built to lean back, whether or not one wants to sit up straight, which is better for the spine, This chair, was the straightest upright chair, and of course, it will lean back, if desired, but it was the only chair that was relatively straight back. Also, the arms fold up so that it can fit up close to the table/desk when not in use.

not comfortable

supposed to be an executive chair. I work at a desk sitting for many hours at a time. this chair is very hard, picture looks like there is back support but don't believe it. Have bought this chair in the past and it was okay. Not this version.

How the chairs are!!

I love my chairs I bought!!! They are very comfortable, sturdy and ergonomically great for posture. They fit perfect under my kitchen table. I bought them for that purpose. I was tired of sitting on kitchen chairs that had no padding on them. These chairs are very durable and strong. I will have them for quite sometime. Thank you again. Thanks to all the people that helped us that day. You made our shopping experience so easy and fast.

Great chair

Chair is very comfortable and well made. Glides easily on the floor. Love that it swivels back, for additional comfort. Easy to adjust height. The only dilemma was the instructions could be improved when putting the chair together.

Not comfortable!

Don't buy this chair! I was so excited to get this chair. It worked fine in the beginning and eventually caused knee and hip pain after 2-3 months of use! I could not figure out what was causing my knee pain until I switched chairs. I believe the angle of the curved seat puts more pressure on the back of your knee than other chairs. With the short return policy, I'm stuck with a chair I can't sit in!

office chair comfort?

This chair is OK, but I would have preferred that the seat be a little longer from tail to knee.

Great Chair but Assembly is tricky

This chair appears to be well made and for me, the flip-up arms were a definite plus.

not ergonomic at all

The head rest falls at my shoulder blades, pushing me forward; the pad below my thighs is too thick and throws me off to one side so I sit on a part of the arm. It was very hard to assemble because the arms hold the back onto the seat and must be pressed hard to line up all the screws (which are metric). The fabric of the stuffing impedes the screws from seating on the first try. I'm returning this chair.

Bonded Leather

There are a lot of pics showing what happens with bonded leather... It's scraps of leather that is basically glued onto a fabric. Really quickly this outer layer rubs off, and once that starts it peels off even quicker. This leaves pieces all over the place and usually haven't had the item that long at all. Staples needs to remove and discontinue selling anything bonded leather. Beware this is definitely 100% a bad purchase.

Poor quality construction

When assembling the chair, the left hand arm holes to the seat were not properly drilled/installed so there was no way the chair would be assembled as it arrived. We had to drill out the holes in the metal arm to enlarge them to be further apart, as the bottom's holes were put closer together than the arm's holes. There's no way this chair could be assembled as it was sent, unless you wanted to strip the screws by installing them incorrectly. Poor quality control!

Very comfortable

This chair is very comfortable. There is a lot of back support and the arms being able to go up makes it very easy to get in and out of. The height adjustment is great. The only thing I am not completely satisfied with is there is no way to lock this chair in a leaning position.

Great sale on a great chair!

I was able to review this office chair in-store before purchasing online. It's very comfortable, offers great support, is well-made, and looks very stylish. The sale price was a HUGE draw and prompted me to purchase quickly. The chair arrived the next day at my office and our facilities staff were able to put it together easily.

Solid chair for discipleship

im ~240lbs. after a week of use it feels solid and stable; rolling around and leaning back etc.

Comfy

Bought this chair for a lawyers office, thought the style and color was perfect for the atmosphere I wanted to present to clients. It glides smoothly. I put this chair together, by myself. A little challenging for one person, but it can be done. I think the arms could be a little lower for me.

Comfy chair!

Tested out multiple chairs for comfort in the store. Chose this one because it had the arms that pulled back so I could get closer to my desk when needed. Chair is comfy and gives the right amount of support. I am 5'2 and many chairs seats are too deep for me to sit and also lean against the back. Height is great for me as well. Only issue is that it would be easier to have another persons help when assembling the chair. The instructions were very clear and the packaging was great. Getting the casters into the base was tricky. I placed it upside down on a rug and used a small hammer with the instruction book folded to protect the caster to get them into the holes. Couldn't do it just by hand. Directions said to hand tighten the screws before final full tightening. Not possible since the screw holes on the arms of the chair are recessed and can't be reached by hand once in the armrests. Not that bad to put together but a little tricky to do by yourself.

Staples Sorina Bonded Leather Chair, Grey (53253)

Nice chair, good size and support. I Like the retractable arm rest. its works good with my home office. A good functional chair for the price. I have had worse over the years. Especially if you pick it up on sale. Not sure if I would paid full price.

Office Chair

I decided to replace my chair with a new one. I am so pleased with this new chair. I love the high back and the seat is very comfortable. The lumbar part of it is comfy on my lower back. It was a bit difficult to line one of the holes with the screw but other then that it went well putting it together. I would highly reccomend this chair to anyone.

Great solid chair

This is a replacement chair for the same one we bought our son 6 years ago. The only reason for the replacement was the bonded leather on the seat started coming off. The chair is extremely comfortable and is used primarily for work and gaming so it gets lots of hours of use per day! He insisted on the same chair, as it is very sturdy and fits him well. The adjustable arms are a plus.

Nice feel

The material has a nice feel to it. It is comfortable to sit in and is a nice looking chair that rolls quietly on tile floors. The seat could be a few inches longer and the headrest cushion could be shorter as it hits across my shoulder blades. All in all it’s a pretty comfortable chair and it was a Christmas gift from a dear friend. I love it. 😊

Great Price for a Good Chair!

I'm a second time buyer of this particular model of chair. I bought 2 of them 5 years ago, 1 for me and 1 for my wife for sitting at our computers. Held up well for me but it is time for a new one(especially on sale!). My wife's chair is still practically in brand new condition! I'm only 5'7", so one thing I like about this is that the seat lowers to 17.5" which is comfortable for me when sitting for hours at a time. I also like the fact that the arms fold up and out of the way when desired. The cushioning for seat and back is also comfortable. I highly recommend! 12/16/2023 - DW
