Manufacturer's Quality Control & Return Policy

I ordered the 3 barstool set. A handyman put two of the barstools together but, when it came to the third one, it was found to be defective. When I called Customer Service, I was not only told that I couldn’t return the one barstool to the store but all three barstools had to be returned to the manufacturer. I informed them that I only wanted one replaced and that it cost me $170 to assemble the two that I had. I didn’t understand why all three had to be returned since they sell them singly or in sets of 2, 3 and 4. I have no quarrel with the customer service representative, he was very patient and courteous, but I do have a problem with the manufacturer and their return policy.

So far good

A bit of effort to assemble but nothing to sweat about, hubby got them both up in 2 hours with some adjustments.
