These chairs are beautiful. I wish they were heavier and more solid. They are lightweight and I am worried the legs will break off. They do make a statement at my table though.

Sent 2 chairs w/out any legs

I ordered 2 of the Lewis Dining chairs in the Beige color. Unfortunately they shipped me the seats for the 2 chairs, but none of the legs. I attempted to get the legs shipped out to me, but was told that it would probably be easier to ship those 2 chairs back, and do an entire re-order. Given the size of the chairs (and the tremendous amount of shipping tape needed), this was a bit of a hassle for me to repackage everything up. I liked the look of the chairs and they seemed solid and well built, and I probably would have kept them. Not sure if I'm going to reorder, as I don't want to encounter the same ordeal again.

Good quality for the price

Our dining table had all wheat colored upholstered chairs. We placed this captain's chair at the end of the table and it looks very nice as the proper "head of the table. Did not require any assembly other than screwing on the legs, which was nice. Nice upholstery and good quality for the price.

Chair is not well balaced. Tips over very easy. But it sits very comfortably.

Great chair

this is a, great chair for mulitple purposes. Can be used in the office, dining table, or extra seating in a family or living room. Very comfortable especially with the tall back.

Material

I bought the Gray ones couple of years ago and they are great and decided to get the cream color as well. What a mistake. The cream color fabric is nothing like the gray. The fabric is so light weight that you could see the inside foam and could get snagged very very easily. Returned as soon as I unboxed it.

I ordered two of the grey chairs for our bedroom. The color is just what I needed, grayest brown. It matches my accent wall perfectly. I gavea the rating because the chairs are very uncomfortable and not easy to put together. On each chair, one leg did not fit exactly right for the opening. My husband ended up having to use the hammer to get them in. Otherwise, I could have assembled alone.

Disappointed in this uncomfortable chair

Horribly uncomfortable chairs and low quality. The seat depth is so shallow even a 5'2" person felt like their rear was barely hanging on. Have tried to return them and now they are lost in shipping. Do not recommend.

This is a great purchase. Definitely recommend. The chair is just as pictured and just as described. The quality can be a tad better as far as the seat cushion is concerned but it is being used occasionally in an office lobby. There is enough room to add a small decorative lumbar pillow so I will do that.

Elegant but not Comfortable

Nice looking but not made for long term seating. Very easy to put together and they are a pretty good quality but if you plan on spending time sitting there like reading a book, etc. the seat cushions are not comfortable long term. Darker than I thought too but I like the color.

Madison Park Sydney Navy Captains Dining Chair

The Material is really cheap. I bought two of the Madison Park Sydney Navy Captains Dining Chairs they look ok at best they would have been great if the fabric on the chairs were velour. The current material is really cheap and the seat portion of the chair looks relatively small and disproportionate to the top or back of the chair. They are comfortable because of the size, however If you're looking for something on a budget then yes go for Madison Park Sydney Navy Captains Dining Chairs. But if you're looking for quality material and furniture this is not it.

Exceeded expectations!

I bought these thinking the shape was good but that I might not like the color (so would be willing to recover). However, the grey color is perfect! Fabric looks sturdy like it will hold up with regular use and stains will be nicely camouflaged. Sturdy, stylish and comfortable chairs!

Dining Chairs

Purchased a lot of items from Overstock and always happy with our purchases. However, unfortunately we have to return these chairs. They were not comfortable and poor quality. The seat cushions were very thin. Very disappointed.

Excellent Quality

These chairs are sturdy, good quality and very stately looking. They paired beautifully with the other chairs for this table and I am very happy with my purchase.

I absolutely love these chairs. I bought one of them about a year ago and loved it so much that I went back and ordered 4 more for my dining room table in a different color. They are very easy to assemble. All you have to do is add the legs on them. You can't go wrong with these.
