Really pretty/unique counter stool! Everyone loves it and asks about it.

Mixed feelings

There was an issue when we first got these with stock availability after we ordered, missing parts, etc, but eventually it got resolved. I love the look of these, but reduced a star for durability. Both the whitewashed finish on the "wood" and the bronze coating on the metal aren't super durable. The seats were showing wear after only a few months and the metal coating is easy to damage. There's some spots where the back rail bumps into the counter if you're not careful getting off the chair, and the silver metal shows through underneath. This wouldn't happen if you're super careful every time, but life, and kids, happen, and I just wish the finishes were more durable.

Quality is lacking

These counter stools are very flimsy. They are not of good quality. They are beautiful but not of good quality.

These are even more beautiful in person and very solid for thr price point. Very happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend. Easy to assemble.

very stylish and modern. great for counter space

I ordered four of these for new home. They are the perfect height and width for our 10 ft island. They swivel nicely. There was a little confusion trying to put them together. for the square foot rest, just know that the holes face down. Also, do not tighten the screws until the directions tell you. This may be common sense to some, but wanted to mention it. just in case.

I love the swivel and the look and the simple cleaning of this bar stools. There is nothing even close as far as finding something great in this price point!

The Gray Barn Preston Counter Stool is a great addition to a modern farmhouse style decor. The wash is true to color and it is a comfortable stool.

Very foul odor coming from the swivel mechanism.

There is an odor in the swivel (i'm guessing it's the grease used to keep it smooth) that smells exactly dog excrement. it's all i can smell when i'm sitting on it, which is pretty gross considering this is a counter stool. i've had them 6 weeks now and the smell hasn't dissipated. I don't know what to do with them-- can't sell them or give them away in good faith. If you buy-- smell before you build!

The chairs came exactly as advertised. They feel very solid, are easy to put together, and have a nice swivel. For the price, these are a good purchase.

Sturdy, good-looking swivel chair

Was looking for a strong chair with a higher weight limit that also had arms and a swivel function. This chair is nice and sturdy and looks very nice with the metal/wood combo. The seat itself if a little more snug with the arms on the side, so it may be a little small/tight for larger sitters.

Great choice for modern farmhouse style kitchen

The quality and comfort of these barstools is great and the design is perfect for a modern farmhouse design. The wood is distressed and can blend well with other wood colors. The oper back design makes them a statement pieve without taking up too much visual space in the kitchen.

Fantastic features

It was a little tricky to assemble, but I LOVE all the features this chair has: it’s sturdy and swivels (perfect for fidgety kids), has a bar for your feet so they don’t just dangle & is easily wiped down. I would definitely recommend!
