Great set

I own all sorts of brands of sockets. Snap on, Mac, Craftsman, Gearwrench, etc these GP semi-deep sockets are hands down my favorite and most used sockets.

I recommend these sockets.

These sockets exceeded my expectations. I use them to work on my cars and have had a good experience. The case is relatively sturdy as well.

Overall, I'm happy

Magnets are much stronger than necessary. Not really suited for impact use, as one magnet came out. They are just pressed in, so no big deal. Flipping the magnet over and pressing it back in is fine, though you get maybe 20% of the magnetic strength. All in all, I'm happy.

For the money these are good sockets. Used daily, in a professional environment on heavy equipment. Zero complaints.

These work great with my 3/8 Milwaukee impact. Haven't craked any so far, I initially had only purchased their 1/2in set but haven't had any issues so far, so I bought their 3/8 set as well and no complaints here.

I would put this set up against any other...and the price for this quality is more than fair. So far they've stood up to some fairly torturous use and zero issues. If these aren't lifetime, they're mighty close.

As an 18 wheeler mechanic mid length sockets are a must have. These are very reasonably priced and great quality. Why pay $180 for a set just like this from snap-on, matco, MAC, or cornwell, when you can buy this set for $42. I also own a set of 3/4 inch drive metric sockets that I used a lot at a heavy equipment mechanic shop. They are also made by grey pneumatic. They are awesome and can take beating.
