A friend had used these recently and they sounded perfect for my application. I was hanging a mirror that weighed about 15 lbs. I figured it was OK to use a beefier claw than I needed, so I went with the 25 lb. The instructions are good, and if you haven’t used these before be sure to read them. The temporary spot marker was a good idea, but I didn't need it since I knew exactly where I was planning to place the claw. Hanging the claw was a little difficult - maybe I have weak fingers (??). I persevered and it went into the drywall after a bit. I placed the mirror and done! The claw seems more secure than a normal picture hook, and the little holes it will leave will be easy to cover if I ever move the mirror. I will definitely use these again – they are a great idea and work well. I will probably use claws that are closer to the weight of my item though. I think the 25 lb size is overkill for the mirror, though I am still happy with it.

The solution to hanging pictures correctly

I have never felt confident hanging pictures, especially a group that needed to look uniform. Even after I bought the Claw, I wasn't inspired until I had to update the guest room for an incoming relative. I am so happy with the results that I can hardly wait to purchase some more and get additional pictures on my walls!

Sorry boys; we are forever doomed for intense pain and frustration when the wife starts talking about putting up pictures. Nothing works, these are overpriced, over hyped, cheap crap. The metal bends and cracks the wall… and by the time you get it through the drywall good luck getting it to stay level. Just get a level, mark the spot and go for the cheaper options.

Only thing that has worked hanging up a large painting . Picture hooks, nails and screws would not hold my artwork in the wall without falling out. Drywall seems cheap these days! But this do dad did the trick ! My panting no longer pulls out of the wall and falls down .

Do not buy!!

Thought this would make life easier.... hung a 14lb mirror from this claw, soon as i let go the mirror fell and broke. so not i am out a 50$ mirror for taking the easy route and trusting this product. i think the weight ratings must be terribly off. just keep in mind, DO NOT HANG ANYTHING OF WORTH FROM THESE CLAWS

I had never seen these before and my mother was needing help to hang a few pictures. She rents an apartment and we did not want to put noticeable holes in her walls and I wasn’t totally sold on the self adhesive type hangers. I was completely surprised by how well these hangers work!! I need to go back to Michaels and get more. I highly recommend these! So easy to use and directions are easy to follow.

Hoped these would be easier to use

Overall ok product. Requires a bit of patience and finesse to follow the installation method recommended by the manufacturer. The included sticky foam markers are way too thick and the adhesive is weak making it fairly easy for things to become misaligned when moving things against the wall surface. For me, I wouldn't buy these again when a wall anchor or screw can do the job just as well.

The product does hold a picture frame but requires tools. I had to use a hammer to get the prongs into the drywall - pushing it with my thumb did nothing. Pricey for what it does (with no benefit compared to other competitors).

At first I wasn’t sure about this little hanger holding up in the drywall. But, I can honestly say that I am pleasantly surprised. I have had a large framed photo hanging on the wall for a while now, and it does not budge. These hooks are great for when you want to hang something on the wall, but there isn’t a stud to nail into. And when you decide to change things up, they leave only three little holes in the wall that can be easily patched up. I will definitely be buying more of these for my home!

Can't tell you what a lifesaver this was!

So I wanted to mount a mirror on a plasterboard wall, but there were no studs in the right place and there were obstructions behind the plasterboard preventing any typical plasterboard hook solutions. The Claw worked so perfectly that I wished I had used it for all my wall hanging. And it only leaves the tiniest holes when removed. Honestly it's a brilliant design.
