This gave the exact height I was looking for and is light weight to carry around. Only thing I don’t like is it doesn’t make a sound to indicate it’s locked in place. Other than that it’s great!!

Oh my goodness, what a chore saver! I now live in a new house with 9 ft. ceilings. This three-step step stool really has made it easy to reach those higher cabinet and closet shelves. Don't have to rely on a ladder.

The Cosco 3-Step Big Step Steel Folding Stool is a good item to keep in the house as well as in an outer office for maintenance. It's much sturdier than other stools and the extra inches affords better usage and it's sturdiness gives me peace of mind. LOL

Great step ladder for reaching those taller shelves in garage & not wanting to bother w/ a ladder......Very easy to open & close & the ladder is taller than many step stools I have owned in the past.

Thought maybe I would need another step but it's the perfect height I can reach to the ceiling if I need to I drag it around everywhere it's light it doesn't take up a lot of room and so glad that I bought it and I compared prices and other places and this really was a very good price

The missing specs.

This is excellent step ladder. very light and smooth to carry, open and close. it has 200lb capacity. The top step is 29.7" high, each step is about 9.7" high from the previous. (the total of three steps separately does not explain the total height). The top supporting pipe is 45" and the stool is designed to support working with 9' high objects.

Got this step ladder several years ago. It has been used countless times for large painting projects, small tasks, indoor projects, outdoor projects. The steps are very roomy. If you think you need this...you definitely do.

Just what I needed

I love my new step stool! Its so much more functional than my 2-step. And its so much easier to use than my 6 foot ladder! I find that it is very sturdy. I have not had any issues with it not staying in place. I highly recommend it, especially at the price it selling for.

I have a previous version of this ladder that I love. I bought this one for my mom, but the new design is horrible. Mine has a lever on the top step that you can easily pull to close the ladder. The new version does not have that lever and needs quite a bit of strength to pull the ladder unlatched to close. It isn't possible for my mom to use, whereas the one I have is easy enough for anyone to close without using a lot of strength. I am very disappointed in the change to this ladder.

I've had a 2-step stool from this brand for nearly 20 years, and it's still in great shape. However, I recently purchased a house with 9-foot ceilings, so I needed a taller step stool. This one is light enough that I can carry it up and down the stairs easily. It's also sturdier than other stools I've looked at in the same price range. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Pros: Sturdy, non-slip steps, excellent height on 3rd step, folds to a narrow 3inches for storage. Cons: Tight fit where top step locks into the fitting groove. Difficult at this time being new to release the top step from the groove to collapse the stool. This will hopefully loosen up with usage. A minor inconvenience that will probably be gone with usage.
