The items will need to be returned since they don't apply to the application, they must be used for an air conditioner, I'm assuming, definitely not for an electric range!

I liked it because of the shallow depth which allowed more room for the attaching wiring. Two were purchased as a splitter to power a compressor and when needed a welder and or plasma cutter. Two were mounted side by side and attached to the compressor giving a convenient second outlet. Very pleased with the outcome.

Works perfect. Have one 220 circuit going into my shop that runs my 80 gallon compressor but I needed a separate connection for a plasma and also a flux core welders sold today, and especially the dual voltage 120/220 but a word of caution - these machines that come dual voltage have a normal 120 with an adapter that when added to the 120 can plug into this to increase their voltage, so if this is your reason for this style plug, take the appropriate precautions to make everyone using aware of it. Plugging a 120 volt device into this adapter will fry it.

Avoid for use with EV charger

Had one installed a year ago for ev charger and some welder use. The ev charger was plugged in 98% of the time. After a year it burned up and melted the outlet and plug together. Not sure why but a little searching found several others online with the same issue with this model. Luckily I smelled it and was able to throw the breaker but certainly a safety hazard. 6 gauge wire, 40 amp breaker and 30 amp charger so certainly not overloaded.
