[Rewarded Review] good pan but....

a little hard to clean by hand with the texture. would not recommend the suggestion for lowering temp 25°, no need for a light colored aluminum pan to do that especially since aluminum promotes more even baking. also definitely need to parchment or properly oil the sides. it's a difficult time pushing up the cakes sometimes and it will wreck them if not careful. it does the job for smaller cakes though and i appreciate the size available.

And it works for babkas, too!

This is a good, stable, well-made pan. My babka baked evenly and released very easily and smoothly even though babkas are very sticky and gummy from all the sugar, honey, chocolate and other yummy fillings. Am I satisfied? I'm Very satisfied!

Fabulous cake pan. This is my second purchase. I wish they had 8x3 size. The cake always comes out nicely. And the cleaning is easy. Highly recommend.

Great size for smaller cakes. Having a bottom that pops out allows for easier cake removal especially if it is a little stuck. There was slight leakage under the removable bottom but not too much where it dripped into the oven.

Love it, its not non stick yet it doesnt stick badly to cakes. Nothing a little parchment paper can help with too but over all its an amazing product 👍🏽

Cake Daddy Pan

A great pan, perfect for easy stress free removal of a cake from the pan. Ideal for regular cakes, but ultimately not ideal for cheesecakes. This pan is also unfortunately not dishwasher safe.

The first time I used them, it went very well; the second time, after handwashing and drying, the cake batter leaked through the bottom on one of my pans.

This pan worked better than expected! Making my cheesecake crust was so easy! And there were no leaks! Removing the cheesecake was super easy too…just run a knife around the outside and push the middle plate straight up!

Fat Daddiio’s pro cake pan

I was pleasantly surprised with this cake pan. I liked that it baked my cake evenly it didn’t brown it and when you washed it with soap it easily cleaned off the cake residue. When you take the cake out of the oven the pan cooled itself quite quickly. I’d loved that the bottom popped out so when the cake cooled down you could easily pop it out from the bottom and remove the cake from the pan. The price was moderate but it was good quality and will probably last for a very long time if you took care of it compared to your cheaper brands of baking pans.

Love these pans, I purchased 3! They're perfect for the cheesecakes I bake. They're so much easier than the springform pans I had used in the past. They're the perfect size. I'm very happy with the quality and will purchase more Fat Daddio pans in the future.

I was so excited to find a 7 inch pan. Not only is this a size I really needed but the weight of this pan is superior to any baking pans I've bought locally. So glad I don't have to go online to buy cake pans. I used this recently for the top tier of a pirate and mermaid themed birthday cake, it worked perfectly for baking my layers.

A lot of famous bakers use this brand of pans. I love how easy it is to take the cakes out. I use these pans for regular cakes, I've never tried cheesecake in them. I like that the cake just pops out, you don't have to grease and flour, just a little canola spray and that's all. They are not dishwasher safe but I still think they are worth it. They are great for cooking with kids who often times have trouble getting cakes out of pans.

Excellent release for cheesecakes! I love this brand, ever since my friend put me on to fat daddios , I have not looked back. No rusting or peeling like the wilton springform pans I used to use. Anodized aluminum is where its at !

Absolutely love this pan!!! Love the removable bottom to lift the cheesecake out easily! The depth of the pan is perfect for a nice tall cheesecake!

Possible problems

If making something with lots of butter, it leaks. The butter melts before it has time to incorporate & drips onto oven bottom, eventually causing fires. Better to use a regular cheesecake pan with spring form!

I like this design better than springform pan since it's easier to wash and clean. Only giving 4 stars because I expected the pan to be made of more durable and thicker aluminum since its name says "ProSeries".
