Impressive Heat Output!

This heater exceeded my expectations in terms of warmth and efficiency. I set it up on my patio, and it comfortably heats up

Uses way more fuel then advertised. But does provide heat.

Does the job

Works very well. Like that I have control of each burner and is adjustable. Use on my deck for cigar smoking when it is chilly.

Great during a crisis

During our last big freeze, my heat went out due to my oil tank lines freezing. I purchased 2 head units and just one on high, both burners, was able to heat the house from 50 to 70 within the hour. Using both, even quicker. I was also able to unfreeze the lines using these units. Also, it looks like it will work as a great camping heater. Easy to use, and safe. My dogs bumped into it, and it stopped running. Good system, highly recommend.

This thing has exceeded my expectations everything that was supposed to be in the box was easy to assemble easy to use separate controls for each burner lights up the first time and throws a tremendous amount of heat this thing lasts forever on one tank I don't know how I've lived without this.

This heater let me work in my garage again

At my age there is no desire to work out in the cold anymore. A friend of mine has one and recommended I try it. My Explorer needs rear upper control arms, differential axle seals and knuckle bushings and was going to wait until warmer weather to do, not anymore. With the unit running the temperature difference 6ft. above the floor can be 15 degrees higher than on down nearer floor where I will be working. He also suggested a fan mounted higher up to blow the warm air downwards.

Works well

Bought this for a unheated job site. I wanted something other than a pot heater. This worked really well.

Once we figured out we needed to turn the connector to the left instead of going right (normally lefty loosey… righty tighty) in joining the connector to the propane tank, the think worked great!

Mr. Heater wont heat

It only worked three times then would not burn. I connected a new full propane tank and it still would not ignite. I do not recommend this product.

Great product. Works exceptionally well warming a work shop. This is my second Mr Heater purchase. As always HD had a great price. Easy to light purchased it early January 2024.

Puts out a lot of heat but it just goes up.

Wrong description on website

The website lists this under Indoor/Outdoor.. it is strictly for outdoor well ventilated areas.

I love it. Easy to install. Super easy to operate. Satisfied with the amount of heat it produces.

Bad experience

Worked fine first winter and it worked fine for about a week this winter but now it won’t pump propane to get it lit on either burner. It acted like it ran out of fuel but my tank felt like it had plenty of propane. Swapped tank and same problem. I love the burner when it worked and I have a friend that’s had his for years with no problems but it’s older so probably made better. Just sucks I didn’t even get a year out of it and returned a tank with propane in it. So basically $100 down the drain.

This is the second double tank top heater i've purchasedin the last 30 years. The first one is still heating up strong but i have a larger space now so had to buy a second one. Great heater and well worth the money.

Great for outdoor areas, brother in law had one for under his deck and it did a great job so purchased this one for when we have guests and sitting outside. We like that it has adjustable heat, you can move the heaters in different directions and the price was right. Some friends of ours liked it too and was going to get one.

First unit shipped was not Mr Heater but a Dyna-Glo and had to physically return it.

Campers best friend

We use these when we camp. Call it the ring of fire. Campfire, chairs with people, then these heaters behind us. They last forever. The one I have now is 22 years old, but starting to have some issues. Great for winter camping. We create our own micro-climate. Only bad part is when its time to turn them off and head to bed! Prior to this, took them to little league games. Everyone wanted to sit with me!!!

Able to light both burners on first use, currently only the burner next to gas supply line is operating properly. It’s good the extended warranty was purchased as well as the product. Not worth the money paid.

I have several of these heaters from various manufacturers. This one is just ok. The lighting holes on the reflector dishes were installed on the inside facing each other so you cannot light them through the hole like it says to do. One of the push valves that you push in for the gas to light was stuck and would not operate properly. Had to tap it several times with a hammer to free it. Also the reflective dish could be a bit larger as most of the heat escapes up instead of being reflected forward.
