As advertised excellent stove

[Rewarded Review] Stovetop great, Horrible Finish Flaws!

Purchased less. than a year ago! Stove works great, however the black stainless steel fingerprint resistant finish on the front of the stovetop is coming off due to acutually using it. Why have one that can't be used or the finish will get all mottled and look terrible. NOT covered by the warranty!!! It is a design flaw that Samsung should honor replacing. I am waiting on a call from the CEO in regards to this issue. I want a new stovetop just stainless steel otherwise it will happen again. The repair technician says it is a recurring problem so don't buy unless you want it to happen to you.

I have this for almost 3 months and i like its form factor as well as its thermal output on its biggest burner, Cleaning is not that hard although the grills are quite on the heavy side which is appropriate for cooking with big pans and pots,

Beware the stainless steel

BEWARE - very low-quality stainless steel. We bought this cooktop 6 weeks ago and installed it recently. The very FIRST time we lightly wiped off the stainless steel top, using a just soft paper towel damped only with plain tap water, a blizzard of scratches immediately appeared on the surface of the stainless steel. This was horrifying and made no sense. We called Samsung. Their response: "cosmetic issues are the customer's problem." So we have a brand-new cooktop that cost us hundreds of dollars that is ruined and unsightly after the first day of use, and Samsung disclaims all responsibility. We used nothing but water with a soft cloth, and we didn't scrub it. Either the surface they describe as stainless steel is not really stainless steel, or it is of such low quality that it's too vulnerable in daily use. What a disaster. Never again, Samsung.

[Rewarded Review] Samsung Gas Range

I’m he Samsung gas range came with a new home. I love to cook but I’m his has to be one of the poorest designs of any range. The grates are short and my pots aren’t able to sit side by side. On the lowest setting, it causes everything to boil . There is no way to simmer anything. I’m here product had to have been designed by someone who does not cook.

LOOKS GREAT, BUT THAT'S IT

First the positive: The cooktop looks great, but that's about it. It is very hard to keep clean and extremely easy to scratch. I have water spots all over it, even though I clean up quickly after each use. It has four burners, but when you place pans on the grates, you can only use two pans at a time to cook with so it might as well have only two burners. The grates must be lifted off completely to clean the underside of the grates (which get very greasy) and to clean the pan area surrounding the burners. Whenever you cook you must remove both grates to clean because splashes will land on the other side of the cooktop. The grates can't go in the dishwasher either. I am very disappointed. This one missed the mark, caring more about style than practicality;

Not Good!

I have this and it is JUNK! First, the grates are raised in the center of all burners, and the pots and pan rock side to side and wobble. They were replaced by Samsung and the replacements are the same. The burners are too close together and will only accept 2 pans simultaneously. This unit was supplied by the builder and will be replaced as soon as I settle on a new one. If you are set on this model take a straight edge (level) with you to the store and test it for high spots on burners!

Never Again!

I literally despise this cooktop! 1) The burners are too close together because of knob location therefore you can comfortably use only 2 pans at the same time! 2) and the biggest reason I despise it is the grates have a high spot in the center and the pans wobble and rock from side to side. No. it's not the pans. It does the same with a straight level or ant straight edge. I've had it for 5 months but still considering replacing it with something else.

[Rewarded Review] Stainless Steel stove top

This gas stove top is outstanding. We just got finished installing granite in the kitchen and this stainless steel stove top looks great surrounded by the granite. It was changed over to propane which was very easy to do and the install went without a hitch. The price wasn't bad either.

This is pretty basic, but that's a good thing! Why have a bunch of gadgets you won't use. I wanted the model with the griddle but with supply chain issues, it wasn't available until after Christmas but I bet that gets extended. So, I compromised and got this one and am very happy. It works perfectly, instant heat and I'm cooking 3 times faster (converted from electric). Pots move easily across the top and easy to clean - win win win!

Burners too close together

The burners are so close together you can only get 2 pots or pans on it at a time. It’s nice looking and the grates are heavy duty, but they need to move the controls to the right and space out the burners so you can use them!
