This chair is fine if you want one that does not fold once assembled. I was looking for one that folds, but the footrest prevents this. Otherwise the chiar s a good value.

Great for the Price

These director chair bar stools are exactly what we needed for the bar. While not the best quality, they do move a bit, they are great for the price, especially if you get them on sale. We paid the same for four of these stools as we would have paid for one of the others we were looking at in the bar store.

Gift for Graduate

The chair is sturdy with easy assembly. Removable back allows for easy personalization. The chair will fit perfectly in a dorm room or an apartment.

We LOVE the chairs. Now that we have them, the only reason I'm giving a 4 instead of a 5 is because they are more easily damaged than we had hoped. The wood chips off fairly easily and after one tradeshow use they are already looking banged up. I used a black marker to "fix" the damage.

The quality of this chair is outstanding—So much better than the garbage available on Amazon. I appreciate that I can easily replace the canvas with a different color or order a custom printed back anytime I want. My only quibble is that the chair wobbles when freestanding. Customer service assured me that this is to be expected and will eventually work out with use. Excellent product.

The chair I received is better quality than those I can buy locally in Hollywood. I am very happy with the build and the bag is fantastic. My only disappointment with the chair is that the embroidered back is velcroed on. The embroidery itself is well done, but I was expecting the embroidery to be directly on the chair back rather than on a separate panel that is then velcroed to the back.

Everything was perfect and even delivery was ahead of schedule. The chair is very nice and sturdy. The only thing is that it is too narrow for me. The sturdiness of the chair suggests it should be able to handle larger body types, but the width of the chair needs to be wider to accommodate those body types, if you are going for that market. But otherwise an excellent product, customer service and delivery.

Tall, sturdy, director chairs

Got these to use for craft events. Nice chairs. The only drawback is that you have to remove the foot plate to collapse them for transport. There are many director chairs on the market but few that have the height needed. These fit the bill! Easy to assemble and sturdy.

Just purchased

Received the product 4 days ago. And it was more than expected. No problem with assembled 1 min. The foot rest is very comfortable. Some people just don't know how to sit in a chair like this! You don't use the foot rest to climb. You can enjoy until you decide to pass it on. Thanks going to purchase another.

A great buy!

I purchased 6 of these chairs for a work event. They were used for a panel discussion and were great! I was very pleased with the quality of these chairs. Very versatile and will be used again for sure. The price on hayneedle was much better than most of the other sites I checked, so overall a great buy!

I love love love my chair it looks great with my vanity! It was super easy to put together, except for the foot rest, even though I did manage to get the foot rest on, one of the screws is not all the way screwed in because the holes are slightly uneven making it impossible to screw both screws all the way in but the foot rest is pretty sturdy anyway. The only thing I don’t like is the gold hardware, I’m going to paint them white, other than that this chair is great and everything I wanted. Can’t wait until my room’s complete it’s going to be bomb!

Great value but not travel friendly

This chair is great for what I was looking for. I am a makeup artist with an at-home studio and the height of this chair will save my back! For me, the only downfall is that I cannot simply fold this up and take it with me; (for weddings or other events) as the footrest is screwed on and the chair will not fold up if attached. However, the overall value of this chair is great especially taking price into consideration.

You get what you pay for

As the manager of a rental stage for film and video productions, we provide amenities for our clients, such directors chairs. The price for 30" and 18" chairs through Hayneedle seemed like the deal of the century; the specs fit our bill, so I ordered six standard and six tall chairs.
