Who doesn't like the warm ambient glow of fairy lights? In my house we'll have the house lights on when guests are over, but if it's just the fam and we're watching TV, we usually only have some source of ambient lighting. String lights made for Christmas trees are bulky and difficult to "hide", but these are made with ultra thin copper wiring that almost disappears when turned on. It's difficult to describe how bright these are - One the one hand, for the size of the individual lights they're super bright. On the other hand, even a whole string of these concentrated in a small space just gives off the most wonderful warm glow that's not overpowering in any way. They really are perfect. I wish I had a garden or landscaping because I think that would be my ideal application. Until then, the wife is using this first string to highlight her fall decor. If outdoors, don't worry that you'll have to go in and out turning these on and off. This string comes with a handy remote and a weather resistant battery pack. You can do a lot with just one string as you're getting 30 feet of wire. I was able illuminate an entire wall of my living room with just one set. You have plenty of options when it comes to effects. The light can stay on, blink, chase, fade, glow, twinkle and more. The lights are dimmable and can be set on a timer. With 5000 life hours you won't be needing to replace them anytime soon!

Low light fairy lights for parasol project

Beautiful low light fairy lights with multiple settings. Require 3 AA batteries which is why the 4/5 stars. Used for a parasol project with hot glue gun. Turned out better than I thought.

Awesome, until they weren't

Brighter than expected and long enough to line 3 walls in my room. Exactly what I was looking for, the remote allowed me to hang them along the ceiling and not have to climb a stepladder to turn them on. The different light settings and dimmer are excellent. Unfortunately...they stopped working after a month. :(
