I have a very heavy wall shelf that needs to be very secure. I got the 300lb. one just to be safe. It has done its job and very easy to put together.

This came with all parts needed, including drywall screws, wood screws and the small bubble level. It is being used to hang a large mirror over a dresser and I have no concern that it would ever fall.

The Hangman is a very good product. It is very sturdy and is supposed to hold up to 300lbs. It comes with 2 brackets; one to hang on the wall and the other to attach to the back of item you wish to hang. Also, included are screws and a level. A phillips screwdriver is required for hanging. Instructions are attached to the plastic packaging and it can be scanned for a video demo.

The whole thing is very simplistic, starting with the tools, materials and instructions. This could have been a very fast project for a handy person but I’m not so it took longer than normal. I am grateful for the bar code instructions and the video I could follow. After that it was a matter of get everything together with patience. Also it went faster with a helping hand by my side.

I have walls that can’t just be nailed in with a hammer. My walls require anchors and drills and the whole annoying nine yards. That being said, when I do put something on my wall, it’s something I want very badly and I want to do it right the first time. I have a beautiful, and very heavy, mirror I’ve always wanted to hang, but I was always afraid it would fall without the proper hanging materials. I’m very happy I found the Hangman Heavy Duty Picture & Mirror hanger because I know it would hold well and not fall off. It wasn’t hard to assemble and my mirror is very sturdy. I’m so very happy with it and I recommend to anyone who wants to hang something heavy but is too afraid. Get this!

Our mirror isn’t near 300 lbs like the max weight but it is very heavy. We were uncomfortable with using standard anchors and our walls aren’t the best since it’s an old house. We anchor lots of things to the walls but we have tons of humidity and a few things have loosen or fallen over time. When we got our mirror we were hesitant to install because we feared it would fall and shatter. When we received this I was confident it wouldn’t. The brackets are metal and heavy! Installation was easy and the instructions were very clear. My husband and I put this up in less then 10 minutes and we tested the mirror after to make sure it felt secured. We have kids who constantly run and jump in the house to the extent of us being able to feel it in other rooms but this mirror did not shake one bit. I feel very comfortable with using this and would highly recommend it.

I used this hanger to installed a monster of a mirror in my entry way that has iron castings. I’m not sure how much the mirror actually weighs but I went with the hanger that holds up to 300lbs. Installation was pretty straightforward. I used my drill to apply the screws to the back of the mirror. I am using two types of hangers just because I’m scared of one giving away and dropping the mirror. I wish it had the hook over mechanism that’s found when mounting tvs to the wall. That would have gave me piece of mind. I feel like one could bump it and then it’ll fall. With little kids around, I’m not risking it.

This wall hanger has the perfect name, Walldog because it definitely is holding up a heavy mirror in my home with no problem. I didn't think I'd ever be able to put this mirror up. This is surely a good purchase. If you want to hang a big picture or mirror or object without the worry of falling down, this is the gadget to get.
