Why did I buy this?

I’ve wanted this table for months. When it arrived, based on the appearance, I thought I made the right decision. I’d been looking for a mid century style tulip table as part of a kitchen renovation. What an expensive mistake. The “wood finish” is fake. The whole top chips when you set anything on it. It’s ruined. Please do not buy this $500 table.

Lovely table

I looked for a small dining table for my breakfast nook for a long time. This one finally met all my criteria. It's simple, solid wood, and the black pedestal base is classic. All you have to do is add the top and spin it tight. The price is very reasonable and much less than I would have spent on something else. I'm very happy I got this one.

I would not recommend!

This table arrived with a small split in the wood which I didn’t think was a huge deal. However, I’ve only had this table for less than a week and now an even larger split has developed on a different area of the table. I can assure you that the wood is splitting entirely on its own and I have not dropped the table or hit it against anything. I am so disappointed in the poor quality of this table because it was literally love at first sight for me. At this rate, the table won’t last more than a few months. I am already looking for a replacement.

Don’t waste your time or money. Table would not screw onto base. Being charged shipping to return horrible craftsmanship for product.

Wood had bugs

Initially I was happy with this table, however after a year we noticed a hole in the table and a bug crawled out. Several weeks later multiple holes with bugs. The bugs were identified as wood burrowing beetles that are found in untreated wood and lay dormant for up to 3 years. The mature bugs then start burrowing out. Needless to say we had to get rid of the table top as the wood appears not to have been treated prior to the table being made and it was infested.

We love the table. Table top finish is pretty and the quality of the wood is excellent The base is sturdy and substantial. It was perfect for our space and feels/looks like a high quality item. We paired it with two Azela charcoal chairs from your site. Couldn’t be more pleased.

Not sure about this as it was damaged upon arrival

This table has potential, but the one I received had a split right down the middle of the top. I returned it, and the reason I did not exchange it was because this did not happen in shipping, or at least I don't think it did. Rather, the wood was split at the joint and I was afraid the next one might as well. If the top were not integrated with the metal base, it would have been in two separate pieces. The color is shown best in the last photo which is quite pretty so if you got a good one, it would be nice. It was $*** at the time I bought it, so a fair price if it was in god order.

I'll give 5 STARS for the service I received as a follow-up to the purchase. The table top itself was made with a flaw that was not what I expected, thus the 4 stars. I contacted Home Depot and the conclusion of the issue was to everyone's satisfaction. It is a lovely table and I'd recommend.

One of the boards in the table was split and the manufacturer tried to glue it together, It kept splitting and the bare wood was showing through. The table was returned

Sturdy table

This is a beautiful table. The base is a heavy cast metal making the table nice and sturdy. The table arrived in 2 boxes which contained 4 pieces to screw together. I had it together in minutes, no tools needed, the threading on the base pieces are well done and labeled as to which part it should be attached. The top is a really warm mango wood, I did purchase a glass top to protect it; we will be using in game room and for home work would hate to see it scratched or water marks from drinks.

Stable Table

Just what I was looking for in a small dining table. Simple, streamlined profile, sturdy, stable pedestal style, real wood, well crafted top and easy assembly. Arrived in two boxes with minimal but very protective and secure packaging. Extremely easy, straightforward assembly, all sections engineered to fit together seamlessly. Base is wide and weighs just enough to provide ample support. Flawless finish throughout. Looks just as described and depicted online. Quality table indeed.
