This sewing cabinet is just super. The lowering mechanism works great.
Arrow Sewing Cabinet Alice
The cabinet is good quality material and assembly was not difficult. I do wish the top cover on the left side had better supports when open for heavy sewing projects. As it is the hinges could easily be damaged. Also would like to have the insert shipped sooner. I still do not have my insert after all this time!

I purchased this Alice in white. The instructions for assembly were ok, but the hardware pieces were not labeled so you had to figure it out, taking more time, trial, error. The lift does work but it is cheap looking, and I am not sure if you can go back and re adjust once it is adjusted. The fiberboard was cheap quality. However, the laminate coating is excellent, and has not been scratched by my pins. The finish cleans nicely too. The machine can be lowered into the cabinet giving you a surface space when you are not sewing.
Cabinet is very nice and well made. Hardware included was miss marked and missing one package of screws which made it complicated to put together. No instructions on how to install hydraulic lift were included in the manual. Recommend only an experienced builder would be able to assemble. Thank goodness my husband is. But my machine fit very nicely in the cabinet and I look forward to many hours of enjoyment.
The Cabinet is very nice looking. However when putting the casters on the back one on the side the drawers are on the hole was not centered. So when the caster was put in it split the wood and went through the side. We glued the wood back on and had to put glue in the hole to keep it in place. I just will not be able to roll the table around to keep presser from that side will have to actually pick the table up to move it.
The sewing table is just the right height and the insert is perfect.
Arrived in a timely manner. The assembly instructions were easy to follow. It looks good. My only complaint is that the drawer stops are not the right shape, or not in the correct position, to keep the drawers from sliding out.
