Don't trust the sheetrock anchors

The shelf itself is pretty well made. However the anchors and screws they give you I would not trust. I also had to drill 3 new holes in the "J" bar because the ones they had in there would not hit a stud and I just wasn't going to trust the cheap sheetrock anchors they provide. It also would had been nice if they had provided a still for the screws that go on the "E" and "F" brackets.

This shelf unit is perfect. I use it in my sewing room. It gives me lots of shelf place for storing and showcasing my sewing notions, without using up too much wall space.

Looks good but poor design.

Looks nice but relatively thin particle board and screw hanger areas very weak and awkwardly/randomly spaced (not for 16" studs). Do not expect this to hold anything of even moderate weight without modification. I do not believe utilizing the 3 stock mounting screw locations with wall anchors would even hold the empty shelf up for long. Ended up screwing 1"x4" boards on top and bottom to allow mounting to studs.

unusual size, three colors to choose from.

I stacked two of these together for a narrow spot that needed a bookshelf. they are composition board and need much strong supports than provided and longer screws but the installer made that happen and they were extremely shallow and fit the need exactly.

These are really good shelves. I love that there are different size cubbies for a variety of items to display. I bought two. I have one on the floor and the other on the wall. Not easy to put together.

I've been looking for a shelf for a while and finally found one that looked like it might fit where I wanted it to go, and was attractive. I am very happy with the Large Rectangular Shelf Unit as it is useful and looks great in my space. I've had this 6 months and it still looks great. It was easy to put together and it did require one other person to hang the shelf.

Great Shelf Unit

This shelf unit went together very easily in about 45 mins. All the holes lined up, all the parts were there, and it looks great. It is very solid and will hold a lot of items and quite a bit of weight. It is heavy enough that you will need to secure it to the studs in the wall, so mounting it on the wall is more complicated and time consuming. It could also be set at the back of a desk up against the wall if you can't mount it to the wall.

Attractive and deep

Everything came on time and packaged well. It's a very attractive shelf, especially for the size and price. We got the white for my daughter's room. It is deep enough to place her figurines and other knick-knacks without worry that they will fall and pose a danger. She loves seeing her things displayed!

Not worth it.

These shelves are very hard to put together,particle board,easy to strip your screws and a flimsy backer board to install it on the wall. You can't use the standard measurement of 16" studs to screw to attach it to the wall. My husband had to make sturdy boards to back it and also notched the shelving out to make room for the new backer boards. I would suggest making your own shelves from solid wood,easier in the long run.

Should be a wonderful shelf!

The wood is almost more like a resin, it isn't partical board. I never got the chance to assemble, as one of the parts had snapped in shipping. I reached out to Danya B, and they're sending me a replacement part. This should be a wonderful shelf. I am planning on adding some L brackets to upgrade the mounting hardware a bit

The worst part about this is just putting it together, the directions make it appear like youre putting it together one way but really its the other way. be wary, take your time read the directions. ALSO get better anchors. these ones dont have a lip and will push into the wall. Other than that its sturdy and decently sized. I have it above my art desk.

These shelves were cheap and poorly made, unfortunately. They arrived with a split in the veneer. However, even if they'd have arrived in perfect condition, I wouldn't have been a fan. They were for my teenager's bedroom and even for that purpose, I definitely wouldn't recommend them. :/ I do love Overstock and have great luck with most of my purchases, but this one was a dud.

It’s so..so

It’s chip board but looks fairly decent and It was easy to assemble. The issue I have is what they supplied for the mounting. It’s inadequate to hold the weight because the unit is heavy. I purchased some angle brackets in order to avoid a future tragedy.

Wish I had gone with something different

The shelf arrived with many chips. If it weren't such a hassle, I would be returning it. Instead, I will paint over the chips. The instructions are not great although it's still pretty easy to put together. It is wicked heavy, so hanging it is a challenge as well. I tried to add photos, bit was unable to do so.

The shelf was easy to put together and install. It's large and sturdy; much bigger than I had anticipated. The only thing about the shelf if that the dimensions are a bit small in between the shelves. If you're wanting to use this for books be warned that they won't fit unless you use the larger side or stack them. Other than that, I would recommend it!

I Put two of these in my sons room over his desk and they are just absolutely perfect to put his schoolwork and his computer items and boxes of cereal that he keeps in his room LOL! They look absolutely gorgeous. Make sure that you have a professional mount them if you have cement walls. Easier to hang if you have wood but either way they are very sturdy and really beautiful very elegant looking. They do not look cheap. Go out and buy them! Enjoy.

great shelf, messy packaging

awesome shelf, we love it! it is actually really fun to put together because of how puzzle-like it is. I don't love the white plastic dots for covering the silver screws - would be better if they were just painted white and there weren't dots at all, in my opinion. I love how the top serves as a shelf too. it is really soothing to look at and the crisp white works well with our awkwardly pale yellow walls. The size is just right for hanging on the wall. The styrofoam packaging was all broken up upon arrival and made a total mess everywhere. it sticks to the shelves, floor, and box and floats around in small pieces. I spent as long cleaning it as i did building --- ok that's not true, but it did indeed take a long time to clean the mess and I'm not so happy with that. I am, though, so happy we have an interesting bookshelf that still looks clean and crisp. great buy. Less

Great wall shel, beautiful driftwood color!

Great wall shelf, gorgeous driftwood look! Only drawback is the boards are soft wood so if you have concrete walls like our 1960s beach cottage, a screw will tear through it if your walls aren't straight, so flattening the shelf was difficult. Installing on drywall is probably much easier. It comes with a paper guide for screw holes. The color is a beautiful gray driftwood.

Nice shelving unit. Looks good

This is a nice shelf. It was very easy to assemble. I do want to give you a hint on assembly. Be sure when you are putting this shelf together that you make sure the shelves that have the holes for the screws to hang on the wall are all pointed in the same direction. I started to assemble the unit and after attaching the 3rd shelf board I noticed that one board had the mounting holes in the wrong direction. I fixed it right away but it would be disappointing if you assembled the whole unit and then discovered this error. Once fully assembled the unit is very sturdy, not wobbly at all. The template worked great. Just put it on the wall and then drill your holes to mount the screws. Very easy. Good value for this price
