Very BEAUTIFUL and Substantial

I am restoring a 220 year old federal style house. It has rooms with very ornate moulding and trim. This moulding is very similar to the original. I am putting this in the dining room. I will put up pics when completed. I am considering using this in the two upstairs bedrooms too.

Gorgeous crown molding.

I bought this crown molding to accent the new beadboard ceiling on my enclosed sun porch. It looks fantastic and is very light weight.

Inexpensive elegance

I have used several Ekena polyurethane products, medallions and mouldings. All have been fantastic. These are no exception. Light, workable, primed, and great designs. Great way to add some elegance to your space.

I am giving this only 4 stars because they were both broken, about 2 feet in, right where the delivery service bent the box. I will not return them because the 6 foot pieces are long enough for my project. They were packaged very well, so I cannot fault the company. I love them otherwise, they will make a perfect frame for my mirror.

Beautiful, but flimsy.

I ordered 4 onlays and this 2 pack of panel molding from Ekena Millwork, the onlays arrived first. 2 of 4 were damaged in shipping, even though the box was in good condition. One of the replacements was damaged in shipping. The panel moulding arrived today, box undamaged, product undamaged.These really are beautiful, I?ll post a picture of the finished product once I?m done. These are still just made of urethane though, so it?s pretty fragile, not sure how long it will last once it?s installed.

I give it 5stars because it look great. I ordered 3sticks. They sent 2, and 1was broke. After straightening the order up. They sent 3 more/reorder. After installed they look great 45?corners are nice. I glued and finished nail them.

This was my first attempt with crown moulding. It was a lot more work than I imagined, but the results were great.

"Thicker" than expected

This item was almost exactly as described but it appears much "thicker" in real life. It is still very light but it would be very obvious when installed. I prefer my moulding to be less noticeable so will not be using it. As one other reviewer stated, it *IS* very flexible and soft plastic. I knew it was a gamble when I ordered it but was willing to take the risk because of the price. I am neither disappointed nor surprised.

1st time attempting crown moulding

I've been wanting to install crown moulding in my place for a long time and love the way it looks. I was a little hesitant to give the foam stuff a shot. So I ordered enough to do my bathroom figuring if my skills weren't up to the job, I wouldn't be out a ton of money. So I checked out a few videos on you tube to get down the basics. I did end up having to buy a larger chop saw as my old one didn't have a large enough blade height (although, I had been planning on buying a new one sooner or later anyway, and this gave be a good reason to pull the trigger). In any case, this stuff was a pleasure to work with. It's pretty forgiving. Most of my corners were between 89.5 and 91 degrees. I used standard 45 degree cuts on all inside and outside angels and had no problem getting a nice tight joint.
