Cherry color. Not walnut.

More like cherry, not walnut. I ordered this product based on the “walnut” description and the dark review photo that someone posted. The color is definitely not walnut (dark brown) at all. It’s a reddish orangish color that looks like a gross cherry wood color. Buyer beware.

Great Little Storage Bench.

It arrived a bit late I guess due to the weather, although the box appeared to be somewhat battered all parts were intact and it was fairly easy to assemble.

I'm so happy with the cabinet, it's just what I needed. I had to replace two of the fabric bins because the handles came off. I put a lot of stuff in the bins.

Finish not great

Pros: Packaged securely arrived promptly All pieces included sturdy Cons: Assembly was difficult. Wooden items had no stickers to match to labels on instructions, and the instructions did not show clearly which direction certain pieces needed to be facing. A few bolts were tricky to tighten because they were so close to the corners. After assembly, it became apparent that the drawers had no guides or glides, so are difficult to open/close. Worst: The pieces looked like they were cut by, and stained by, a D student in middle-school shop class. (If they have shop class in Thailand).The stain was uneven and drips were pparent. One drawer handle ( a cut-out hole) was improperly cut, and so was jagged and uneven. A large (3") splinter piece fell off and left the edge jagged, raw and unstained, so that drawer front looks terrible. For $*** + I expected a sturdy and nicely finished bench. I actually could have bought a completely assembled similar one for less money on another site, but I ned one less deep, and this one was cheaper on overstock than the giant sales site. Less

It arrived ahead of the listed date. It was in good order, no damage to the product. It was super easy to put together, we did it in about 20 minutes. It is on the small side, perfect for our entry way. Now the kids each have a bin to put there shoes in and a place to sit to put them on and take them off. Perfect!

I dislike this item because, it needs at lease 2 people to put it together. It has too many parts that need to be aligned before the screws can be adjusted and it keeps falling apart as you fix one side and try to adjust the other side. I was much too frustrating so, I just left it in the corner un assembled. If you are like me and don't have anyone to help you to hold it on one side while you fix the other, I do not recommend getting this item. It's not worth the trouble.

Bench is good! Baskets are a fail!

The bench works great in our mud room. Looks good also.However the cornhusk baskets are not so good. Every time I pull one out to put something in them the drawers shed and make a mess on the floor. Not just a small amount. I have to go et vacuum out. Very disappointed in baskets.De

Perfect solution for storage in my hallway. This product is very sturdy. I can store items in the bins and I use the top for storing canisters we with snacks for grabbing a quick item before running out the door.

Just the size I was looking for. It fit perfectly in the spot I had in mind and the color was what I was hoping for.Very easy to put together and is very sturdy, Great for putting away small items that you use often, but can leave a room looking cluttered if left laying around.

Nice entryway bench with baskets. Nice solid wood. Easy to assemble with wooden finishing calls for the screw homes. Baskets are a little on the flimsy side.

More than I expected

I have been wanting a bench for my entryway forever but I kept putting it off after reading all the negative reviews. Well. I finally took the plunge and ordered this one and I am so very glad I did. It is PERFECT!!!!! It arrived before the expected delivery date. I had prepared myself for at least a chip or a scratch out of a piece or two but every piece arrived in perfect shape. The instructions were clear ans easy to follow. My husband had it put together before I could even ask him if he needed any help. I was amazed. He was very impressed with how the drawers went together. It was the perfect size for my foyer. It is a really solid piece of furniture and I am so happy with it. I'm giddy!!!!

Poor fitting on drawer.

I assembled the bench set only to find one of the drawers did not fit the opening. It was improperly made. I have a picture available, if needed. I was not ready to dis-assemble the entire set for one drawer. I will never buy from Overstock again!
