I appreciate the inclusion of a template for aligning the mounting plates when using two of them. While the instructions primarily consist of diagrams, which works well for many, my personal preference, having installed towel bars before, is to mount at least one side on a stud whenever possible. When following this method, I find it best to drill a pilot hole through the drywall and into the stud beforehand, ensuring the screw goes in smoothly. Although the directions suggest using a quarter-inch drill bit for making the mounting holes, this is only applicable if you're utilizing the plastic screw mounts, not if you intend to mount directly into a stud.

I am remodeling my bathroom, so I only put up the towel bar for now. I wanted to see how they look. Once I get things repainted, they are going to look great. Each piece comes grouped in its own package. So you don't have to worry about figuring what parts go where. Even the screws and anchors are supplied. The set also comes with a template so that you gets the screws in the correct place. No messuring - just level the template and drill. The hardest part is tightening the set screw that holds the support pieces to the wall brackets. My fingers are too big...
